[QUOTE="ugz602"]Yeah... are you talking about receiving a new console from the repair center? They do not send you a brand new console, they send you a new console (aka refurbished), which includes a new heatsink. They do not send you a brand spanking new 360. gamerfreak13It's not MS's repair center. I have a Toys R Us warranty and they made me send it to Professional Satellite Repair. And if they can't fix it, which they haven't been able to, I get a brand new one. Im not dealing with MS. If I do get a new one from PSR, not MS, what is the best place to exchange it?
In that case, if it's not from MS, then I'd probably say Wal-Mart. Most places will ask for a receipt, but you might get lucky with Wal-Mart and get store credit. If you complain enough you might get it at other stores too. I wouldn't deal with gamestops though.
I had my original premium for a year, and My elite since it launched... never had a problem, neither have any of my friends, only from people who are of questionable intelligence have i personally heard stories of problems.
Not that I'm denying that there were/are problems with 360s but i think that the biggest issue is that there is a smaller buffer for user error, id say that about 30% of the issues that have happened with the 360 are due to people doing stupid things that they got away with before with other systems, but since the 360 is a piece of equipment designed for grown ups, its not so lenient.

Wow, you're a tool. My 360 failed on me as well and I kept it as clean as possible. I placed it away from all other electronics, didn't plug it into a surge, and was careful in handling it. Don't tell me I forgot to Criss Angel levitate the console. So here you are, saying that only idiots have had their console fail?
If the console barely had problems, then their repair center wouldn't take forever in repairing your console and they wouldn't put new heatsinks inside. I hate it when people defend MSoft by calling people with hardware failures, "of questionable intelligence." By the way, I've treated my PS3 the same way and I have yet to encounter any issue with it.
People keep saying that LAIR is gonna be repetative but they dont see the variety of attack you can do to enemies. Theres the fireballs (large n small) you can bash into other dragons, the are small 1 on 1 attack sequences where you can flame and hit your enemies and not forgetting the cutscenes where you can take out dragons more artistically like shooting a spear into it and flying off while it rips through that b@$t@rdspeedjunkie1992
Here's the thing. Every game is repetitive when you play it for a certain amount of hours, period. What seperates a decent game from a great game, is how the story is played out and how well the graphics immerse you. The graphics on Lair seem OK, but that might change when I play on my hdtv. The storyline seems OK, it doesn't seem horrible but it doesn't seem that epic neither. All of these things come into play, on whether or not the game will be lacking.
I'm pretty sure that you would need a Gift Receipt to do that. I know that when I go shopping for gifts I always tell the cashier that it is a gift and they print out a special receipt that you can give with your gift so the person can return the item.BTW I never recieved an e-mail from them either. :(sugga_lix
Yeah you're right. You can't trick these stores anymore. MS service is completely random and awful. Sometimes they'll email you, and other times they won't even give you a word on anything. If you call them, they never know a damn thing about what's actually happening to your console.
I'm starting to suspect that the workers probably fix the console and give it to their family aka "lose it", and then they have to send you another one. Either way, I have my UPS recepit with the tracking number that shows that the console arrived and was signed. So if they try anything funny, I have proof that they have it.
