@Xylymphydyte: Well, it all depends. Would you be willing to be blamed for the attempted murder as well if you claimed the money? It's potentially a bit of a double-edged sword...
@brandsome: Eh, it's not hard to leave out a word by mistake. I'm guessing in this instance the word was "attempted". GameSpot proof-reading is notoriously lousy.
@dawnwatcher: I don't think I set foot in any cinema this year at all. That's sad, that there's just been nothing I considered worth trying - even more so because I basically get in for half price as I get to take a friend for free as my carer, being on wheels. So I couldn't even be bothered to pay half price to see anything from 2017.
@muzza93: Mostly the mini-games - loved the miniature arcade machines you could get hold of to put in your apartment, and the different kinds of homes you could have, like the underwater base and the gothic castle. I used to hang out in there and play bowling or race on motorbikes or quad bikes, with my friends a lot, too. The TARDIS was pretty awesome as well - had quite a few interesting clips from the history of Doctor Who...
That and I know this is probably pretty femme, but I also quite enjoyed the clothing choices and redecorating my apartments, like the giant tree-house I won on there... It's something I can't do in real life, being disabled and in social housing, so I like getting to play about with it online. I did manage to get hold of a wheelchair in Home at one point, which was a bit funny to me, but it wasn't as good as my real one. Game wheelchairs so rarely are! =P
@KahnArtizt: Cloud saving is my one major reason to keep PS+ - though the free games from past promotions are a definite plus, pun not intended. I have to run cloud backups every time I want to swap in a new hard drive on my PS3, so it's great that I can - helps with the dratted Traveller's Tales game glitches, too.
Speaking of the HD switching, I really love that this is possible, & it's the main teason I prefer my PS3 to my 360. I bought a 120gb PS3 to begin with, and it's now running an internal SATA drive with a terabyte of storage - I have nearly 200 games, my entire CD collection, and many TV episodes and films on that hard drive - and I still have 350gb of space left!
Not like the annoyingly limited proprietary drives MS do for the 360 and associated models, where I've had to delete digital games once I've got all the achievements from them just to make space for new ones to play!
Don't get me wrong, I like both consoles and they have a good range of games for each, and I prefer to run my multiplayer Minecraft and Bejeweled games on 360. But in general I do prefer my PS3 of the two.
@johno357: In answer to your intended question, it doesn't apply retroactively. You only get credit for trophies earned from the date you sign up to the program.
