Pfft. This long-term FF fan is still *so* not interested. I warmed to XIII eventually, but this one is not getting a chance from me, for several reasons, not least this whole deal where they've charged full price for half a game, if that.

@fenbops: But they should, because the lack of people of colour is *not* accurate. History has too often excluded non-white people from the general narrative and pretended they didn't exist in many times and places, but it's simply not the case. From where I'm standing it just makes it look like they didn't do enough research. I wouldn't mind sacrificing some diversity for accuracy if the historical aspects truly were accurate and not merely going by exclusive and inaccurate sources.

@lembu90: Yep. I've been a devoted FF fan since age twelve (now thirty-two) and I agree with every point you made in this comment. I refused to buy XV after seeing comments from people who played it in advance (despite pre-ordering every FF game I had the console for since I turned 18 & got my own debit card), and I haven't regretted it once. I doubt I will.
