I would wait for the summer or something, like later in the summer (July-August) for a deal on a gaming desktop.

Or you could wait til Black Friday. Not sure if you want to go that route, but the bulk of games that come out are going in November and December so definitely wait.

Don't know about you but I'm waiting on a GTA for PS4.. Could be a while to get GTA 5 or even a new one made, but definitely want it to happen.

Watch Dogs is on my list too :)

Why do you think buying on release date isn't worth it? It could go months without ever hitting a sale, so I don't know how you could be patient about it.

Plus you could always buy it on release date, finish it, sell it, then buy it when it's on sale or something with DLC and all that

I'm speaking of modern games here, but Octodad got a 70 or so on metacritic.

I love it not for it's gameplay, but the enjoyment it gives my friends and I. It's clearly a funny game and it's hilarious to play, and that's what I believe games are supposed to achieve these days. Guess review websites don't agree..

I've seen a fair share of FTP games that start off well with how they do micro-transactions, but end up becoming greedy and requiring money to win..

I don't recall myself or anyone I know, for that matter, to "highly anticipate" this game.

Knew it was bad by just looking at the trailer

Oh dear goodness, did you see the trailer lol. I could already tell it was a game with shaky combat.
Did anyone really expect anything out of this game?

People give them hate for spending that money on advertising and whatnot, but a business is a business. You have to spend to earn.

And regardless, they are spending a wad on development too.
