your hand strength is weak. try this - play on easy but dont use your ring finger, and use your pinky there instead. your hand will build strength in both your pinky and ring finger since holding your ring finger away is not natural movement. Nobody has a strong pinky when starting out, you need to build up the dexterity in it to get the results you want.

Imagine trying to play the real guitar..... You need your pinky on a much smaller target, using much more pressure to get your reaction.

im interested in this too... does anyone know if ANY gh games work with the rock band guitar, including gh 1, 2, or 3??? or, if you can use a PS2 guitar with the controller adaptor to play GH3 for PS3???

I own GH3 for PS3 but thats it, and I would totally invest in a guitar controller for PS2 with the adapter if I could use the controller to play with 2 people on gh3 with my wireless one as well

Yeah nobody really knows if the patch exists or if its just a rumor but people like myself are really hoping it shows up some time because i sold my PS2 to buy my PS3 back in march before any rumors of ps3 hardware not working with the gh ps2 stuff.

I also had a problem getting my bluetooth headset to work online with my PS2 games like socom and was told by sony support that a patch would soon fix that... of course it hasnt shown up yet which in my definition of soon totally calls that guy a liar. The only reason I brought that up is because it is also one of those things everyone is aware of but nobody is in any rush to fix. Hopefully, by this time next year, both issues will be fixed.

I think it's worth the rental fee just so you can say you tried it, but I wouldn't spend $60 on it (I regret throwing my money down on it). This game is an example of a great idea that just didn't get executed well.spiff_p239

I agree. I didn't even finish the game I was so disappointed with it. I killed 1 target, and after I saw that to kill the 2nd target that I needed to do the exact same thing in a different city, I made my decision to delete my update, game save, and throw the game on ebay. A must play, to the first round. Thats enough for me.

7... and thats ONLY because its such a pain to get into a room. that number would EASILY be a 10 if i didnt have so much time between matches to go through complete withdrawls and able to completely quit if i wanted to. it's just those darned relapses.....

gameplay itself is pretty good too though, but nothing really beats online with any game really. well, except COD 3 which i was not a fan of at all.
