Just wondering....is it is a burned disk or the actual disk? I'm not sure if the 360 has a problem ripping from burned disks, but I remember the old XBOX had an issue.
An easier way is to use the Media connector. You can just browse all the media on your PC, over your home network if you set that up, and it's pretty easy to do too. That way you don't take up space on your 360 and have access to every MP3 you own....you can also watch downloaded movies and view pictures.

My media server doesn't work. I've given up on that. I took the advice from the guy saying that DVD's cant be ripped and so i burned all my songs onto 5 cd's and i get the same response from my 360 - nothing... It just says "Mixed Media Disc" and if i push the A button on it, nothing happens at all. It just refuses to respond. I can play the songs on a playlist on my 360! But i can't see where to save the damn songs to on the hard drive!
I swear to God I'm going to get my custom soundtrack going today if it kills me..... I'm tired of messing with it all.
Here's my latest place and I'm so close I can hear it. Literally... I've got my songs all saved on a DVD, and it's in the Xbox playing now. However, I want to save the playlist on my hard drive so i can play it while I'm playing games, like a normal 360 owner. How can I get the songs off the DVD onto my 360? I can't find a button or a link anywhere on there that says "Save to Hard Drive"
Note to anyone who hasn't been following my posts, but my 360 won't communicate with my PC and it hasn't since I got it. It's not possible to just say "why dont you get them off your computer?"
all of them that don't have aliens or some sort of stupid space creature in them......
Prey started off awesome, then suddenly got stupid when aliens came.
