I just had a scary thought. What if EA now plans to make a Mass Effect mmo to try and see if they can kill WOW and they advertise it as you learn everything you hoped to learn in Mass Effect 3 lol

I thought the game was interesting but I just can't keep playing theme park MMO without a break. Kill x amount of enemy, turn in quest, repeat, repeat, and repeat just gets old. Ya I could have skipped the side missions to just do story but then I would be under leveled. The game didn't really feel like a lot of work went into it though, it felt more like EA was trying to just cash in on the Star Wars name.

I haven't played KoA yet but played the demo and plan on buying it during the steam summer sale. I do feel guilty about not buying it when it came but I was unemployed at the time and had already pre ordered mass effect 3. Sadly though publishers will use this to say new IP don't sell and will keep pumping out yearly un original sequels. I dont know if this truly means anything but where I live someone came into a gamestop asking for this game about a month after it came out and the person working there said no gamestop in the area had even gotten one traded in to them yet because everyone has been enjoying the game.

Totally agree with him. Heavy Rain did a great job at showing what the ps3 could do and was highly original, you think Activision or EA would have made a game like that?

@Justforvisit When he said the market is directed more towards kids I think he meant the games like Call of Duty and Gears of War where even though they have M ratings the story and game play is so bland and un original that only kids will think it is a good game. Its much easier to sell crap to a kid if that is all they know.

Hmm a .hack similar type of game sounds interesting but I have never been impressed with Lionhead's games. Everyone makes the fable games out to be these epic games but I haven't been too impressed.

Loved BC2, I loved working together as a team while playing online.

I've played MP once for ME3 and that was enough. I'm not going to play that for hours just to get an extra 4 seconds to my crappy ending.

This sucks and the worst part is now publishers will use this as an excuse to not make more IP's since they will be like "Look at what happened with 38 studios, they made an IP and went bankrupt so time to keep pumping yearly sequels"
