@AdrianWerner: like what? a PC is twice as powerful as a next gen console, yet MGS5 blows ANYTHING on the PC out of the water by 2x.. explain that?

Kinda noticed a long time ago that PC's have been more powerful than the next gen consoles even as far back as 2-3 years ago. So they're all boasting now saying "yeah you're stuck with old technology and a crappy CPU wheras we have a 2x more powerful CPU and a 3x better gfx card" etc.

The point is, if there was already machines more powerful than the next gen machines are now 3 years ago. Why weren't they developing games to utilize that power?

The fact that a power PC is 2x more powerful than a next gen machine means nothing, as they don't make games that use that power, they make the games to run on the lowly console graphics :P so you've wasted your money! :P

Hey, This trailer/s look incredible, far beyong anything we've ever seen. But some people are claiming the trailer was using PS3 hardware. It's completely not possible right? those textures are completely WAY to high resolution for the 256mb ram on the PS3?

@klonoafanboy122: I recently downloaded a PS2 emulator, so i coulkd play Snake Eater as i have a hard copy but my PS2 is broke. And to be honest looking through the catalog of games.. there actually was 90% crap. There was very few great games compared to even the PSX. Like on my PS3 i downloaded 9 games from the old systems.. and all of them are from the PSX.. Zero from the PS2.. there was maybe a handful of games that were truely great, MGS 2 and 3 and a couple of others like Silent Hill, Ico, shadow of the colossus etc. But 90% were just rubbish tbh. i mean, look how GOD awful FFX was, terrible kiddy story, stupid characters, stupid background volleyball game that ignored the laws of physics.. and stupid haircuts and voice acting.

Well the best examples i've seen are Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the patriots. These have AMAZING story, AMAZING gameplay. Wait until MGS5 part 1 and 2 come out. ou'll get the same again.

hey there, i started a thread thats now locked saying "i've been ripped off, there's nothing different apart from slightly better graphics in killzone shadowfall, but the levels and design are the exact same"

Well i've come back to make a new post to say i couldn't have been MORE wrong! i hold my hands up.

Im on mission 7 in Shadowfall now and after like chapter 3 or so the game slowly started to show it's true greatness and beauty. Because the game looks SO immense and beautiful, the new mission types are even more dynamic and immersive..

So i apologise to anyone i upset or p*ssed off.

I realise now that even though AC4 on the ps3 and the ps4 are very similar, i didn't get ripped off as i didn't buy both, I bought the PS4 one so i've gotten the best version of AC4.. i dunno what i was complaining about.

Also does anyone know are the MGS5 trailers rendered on the next gen hardware, or on the GTX powered desktop computers.

@jer_1: did you not watch any of the videos i posted in the thread? "Great to amazing?" they look almost identical... and to the other guy saying "the scale of KZ:sf" .. what scale? The levels are still the same size, the only difference in the background is bigger in the main area... liuterally thats the only difference. Everything else is the same. Same level design, same levels, same guns, same controls, same story, same everything apart from slightly better graphics and a bigger background when you're outside.

and to Ish_Basic.. do i actually need to take pictures of my PS4? jesus. I honestly dont see why everyone things KZ looks so amazing. Same blank textures. exactly the same size levels etc. Just a bigger outdoor area (which you can't even go anywhere in).

@ZZoMBiE13: i see your one of the new wave of "graphics don't matter". Since when has this been the case? and i think you're full of it, because if "graphics dont matter". then there'd LITERALLY be no difference between the 4 systems. They'd all be identical. So far that little graphics increase is the only thing seperating them, so what are you on about?

not just the graphics, if you READ my posts, im worried about there being no new content or no massive new worlds taking advantage of the full power of the systems, they still just making the same games but with slightly better textures. Read before answering. And stop cpying everyone else with your graphics dont matter, theres one of you in every debate on the internet and it gets boring. Why else would you buy a next gen console if they were not gonna make the better graphics? because they aint changing anything else by the looks of it.
