So let me guess, you didn't troubleshoot anything else and decided to blame it all on the SP?

Nibroc420
i reinstall my windows 7 yesterday and it all stop did know what was at the time so restall sp1 it all it problems start agin so what else can i blame on so i reinstall my window one more time and this time im not install SP1

You should learn how to re-install an OS if you're having so much trouble. SP1 doesn't have too many problems, meaning there's a good chance it's your error, not windows'

i know how restall windows

SP1 has been out for AGES. Just about everyone running W7 has it. I recommend looking into other probelms on your PC because there's definitely something wrong outside of SP1.

[QUOTE="tcf457073"][QUOTE="BossPerson"]

I did, then when i turned on my laptop the next day, my computer said,"Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause"

I tried to do a troubleshoot, it didnt work, but when i restarted my laptop it booted fine. So i restored it to about Monday and the new updates (the ones that i think may have caused the problem) appear again. I am still unsure if they are the cause. Has anybody downloaded the most recent windows 7 updates without any problems?

BossPerson

SP1 cause it to freeze left and right like lockup or freeze for a few sec then blue screen kernel date inpage error come up and cause chip sets to overheat and "windows failed to start"
so if didn't install SP1 do not install it if do install you asking for problems
