I come onto this page to see who won out of curiosity and when I scroll down to the comments every second it's being updated with a bunch of angry comments. Lol, seeing gamers get their panties in a bunch over the slightest thing always makes me laugh. I'm actually happy that year in and year out Gamespot doesn't base these awards on popularity and goes against the grain. As you gamers always like to say, SALES AND POPULARITY DON'T EQUAL QUALITY!
People always say that only exclusives should be considered for the Platform Awards. Just because a game is exclusive instead of multi-platform doesn't make it a better game or make it more fun. Just because Halo 4 is only on Xbox 360 doesn't make it better than every other game available for the system.
EA is making fun of Activision for having yearly releases of CoD. Meanwhile, EA continues to release a Madden, Fifa, and Need for Speed every year, which they've been doing for over 10 years.
While I'll admit that EA does have some really good games that I like, they have to be the single most annoying and greedy publishers in all of gaming.
This is why I feel that trailers should be strictly in-game footage. I really don't like it when there is exclusive footage for the trailer that isn't in the game or when the trailers are live action. They are either misleading or unimpressive.
One thing that I definitely like about shooters like this is that you actually have to think before you take action, as opposed to just running into the area and killing everyone as fast as possible.
