@BelaZZ A lot of people probably didn't even play Zelda. I know I didn't, so it might be the best game ever and I wouldn't know...goddamn Nintendo exclusives :/
They forgot to mention the game is about farming orbs, which you then trade to get gear. And that there is a crafting system with those same orbs, that hardly anyone uses because it's much more efficient to buy gear. So in that regard it's similar to games with AH...u farm stuff, u buy upgrades. Self-found = rng on top of rng so you can rng even more. I played for around 4 months, self found, haven't found even 1 piece of gear that is considered above average. Meh.
Oh, and that playing in parties trivializes a big part of the game.
@el_swanno They were thinking that 100mil (or whatever, forgot the number, but it was big) spent on voicovers will magically make the game super awsome. And that no one will get to notice the endgame is...well, kinda mostly missing and buggy.
I wonder how much that space combat part of SWTOR cost...it was a pretty sad affair for the Star Wars pedigree.
What I like about games where you have vassals/allies and such is that in most of them the computer randomly decides one of them will stab you in the back although you're the best of buddies/brothers/whatever. And even if you load the game, gift the bastard with everything you have...well, the games still says "hi to backstab and bye to half of your belongings".
Oh, did I say like. I meant hate with a vengeance. Bullshit like that ruining these kind of games for me. It's the same stuff in X4 games....alliances, best of buddies, next turn, "war" for idk what...nothing rly...specially funny if they're some weak ass faction with 1/10th of what you have.
Cute game, bit of problems and a tad short, but can't really complain for the price. Hope communty will make some good stuff with editor. Ah, I expected some free roaming at least...that was a bummer, too much handholding. Has potential for improvement though.
@steelmouth Even programmers must learn, that not everything they code is made out of pure gold. I'm finding that people are all too lenient as is to game makers in general...or has the average gamer become so indifferent to what he plays...hmmm
@udubdawgz Uhu, because if you pay someone to do something worth zillions of $$ you don't really know what's going on. Sure. Right. Gives you plenty of deniability though.
And yeah, it's not like it's some state secret that working conditions in plenty of countries are utter shit. All for the allmighty buck.
