In my time Ive had physical copies of NES, SNES, Amiga, N64, PS1, PS2, 360, PS4 & PC games. Over the years I've sold the consoles with the games apart from the PS4 which I still have but only have BF1 and Fifa 17 on that. I've also lost/thrown out/given away the old PC games.

I wish I'd never sold my PS2 because of the SSX games - loved them! No regrets about the others.

I do have over 200 games on steam/origin/uplay which I'll obviously keep until the end of time. I'll leave my account details in my will so people can play them when I'm dead :)

I only buy digital copies of PC games now and physical copies of PS4 games if I see them cheap and actually want them...but there aren't any of those atm!

It doesn't matter if they've backtracked or not, if people still buy this game companies like this will continue to take the piss out of us consumers. The only solution is not to buy this game at all. If NOBODY buys the game they will get the picture.

Bought my first PC back in 1997. Paid £1400 for it. Pentium 200mhz, 16mb ram, 10gb HDD, some 3dfx card and a 15" CRT. Was awesome! Could max everything at 800x600 lol.

In the years before that I had a ZX Spectrum, NES, SNES, Amiga 500, PS1 & N64. Since 1997 I've had a PS2, 360, and a PS4. But PC has always been my preferred platform.

This guy's reviews are always spot on. Funny as **** and always spot on.

IMO the majority of modern games are shite.

Nah. He's entertaining in the vein of a Yatzee/Zero Punctuation where nitpicking is their moto but he's still a little b*tch that complaints about anything that wasnt made for PC and PC only.

He's got a point though. A lot of games have been dumbed down for the younger console generation. I can understand why as the publishers want to sell as many copies as possible. This latest CoD is a prime example. He's also spot on with the MP, it is a pew-pew shooter that requires little skill and zero tactics.

I've not played it, so I'll admit i'm commenting from a position of ignorance, but how this game got such high scores is beyond me....unless the reviewers were given sweeteners to mark it so highly. The last Cod I played online was BO2 and this looks the same, but with a WW2 skin.

I agree, he's the peoples reviewer. A lot of pretencous gamers try to put him down because he doesn't articulate himself or over-analyze in the same way as terrible content creators like Total Biscuit, Superbunnyhop or Mark Brown, but he's honest, usually right and speaks to you like a passionate human-being rather than some idiot who watches boring art house movies.

Thank you WAB lord.

He praise rainbow six vegas 2 as holy grail of tactical shooters. he always claim allied assault as one of the greatest FPS ever and compare it to Half life when it was heavily scripted and on rail shooter when it released. its definitely better than todays COD but not the way he praised.

I agree, he's a massive hypocrite and doesn't know what he's talking about half the time. There is also an incredible bias towards console gamers and young people in general - claiming they are ignorant while simultaneously displaying that himself.

But I don't hold it against him, just like I don't hold you for claiming Metro is a masterpiece, even though it's just as scripted as Call Of Duty or New Order, a movie game.

Nobody is perfect, but he likes Halflife 2, and understands it's greatness.

So he's alright.

I think his biggest problem is that games these days hold your hand and leave you with little to think about.

His reviews on HL2 & RtCW are great. I know the graphics in those games are bad compared to today's games, but the actual gameplay is far superior.

I think this is even more accurate review

Loading Video...

The thing is sledgehammer become worst COD developers ever and made infinity ward and treyarch feel like Valve or id Software type FPS developers.

thats how bad advanced warfare and WW2 are. when i played advanced warfare sometimes ago. i realize wow. this game manage to make modern warfare 1 and 2 a masterpiece. everything about advanced warfare was utterly boring, from its optimization to terrible scripted gameplay with automatic smart granade.

this WW2 game a most generic name on earth is even worse. its cutscene simulator QTE fest.

This guy's reviews are always spot on. Funny as **** and always spot on.

IMO the majority of modern games are shite.

I7 3770k - OC'd to 4.6

8 GB RAM

GTX 780

128 & 256 SSD's

500GB HDD

27" 1440p Qnix monitor (one of the Korean ones from Ebay - OC'd to 100hz)

24" 1080p secondary monitor which I also use for the PS4 Pro

Zowie EC1 mouse

Razer Orbweaver

G29 steering wheel.

Bog standard keyboard (Orbweaver for games)

I can still run any game I try, admittedly dialing down some of the settings, but still every game works fine. Currently playing F1 2017 and everything is on high and it's still smooth as silk. BF1 for example - 70fps on a mix of low & mid on 64 player maps.

Possibly only really need a new graphics card, but in no rush.

Me neither. ET was also free! My favorite game of all time by quite a large margin. Youngsters these days wouldn't know a good game if it came and bit them on the arse.

Yeah I can't believe Activision was ever a good guy and did that:

Ok so our singleplayer failed, but we are gonna release the multiplayer for free

- Oh, so you mean free to play ?

No, free

- But you are gonna monetize with lootboxes ?

No, it's free

Indeed. Lets also not forget the community could also make maps. There are literally hundreds of maps available for that game!

It's almost as if the gaming industry has gone backwards :/

I don't think it's pointless lol.

Maybe they'll finally give us a modern MP shooter based on those games. I'd cream myself if they did!

The movement, gunplay and teamwork are things that no other game has come close to imho :)

Yeah RTCW was the pinnacle of team based shooters.

I've never played a game with such teamplay, and objective based gameplay ever since.
