Obviously if you're a digital person, then you're stuck with it. But for the physical copy people, what do you prefer to do? When I was younger, I definitely sold, but had some regret. Now I tend to keep my games. Having disposable income helps I guess. What about you, SW?!

Never sell them, but I don't know if I collect them. It's good for buddies that choose not to spend too much on gaming. They borrow the games, then.

I prefer to keep my games. I often like to go back and replay games that I have enjoyed, and it's nice to have my favorite games available when I am interested in playing them. :)

I collect them.

There's only three games I ever sold and I regretted it, two of those three were terrible: Red Steel and Spyro Orange.

The game I most regretted selling was Project 8,

I also don't have all of my NEW games my mom gave them away in the 90s.

Use to collect, but I keep very few these days, and I will buy physical copy where ever possible, and will only buy digital if I have no other option.

I usually keep them, but for games that are a one-and-done experience that I know I'll never replay (e.g., Uncharted) then I sell

I use to sell and trade my games and systems when I was younger, always regretted it. I now keep all my gaming purchases and feel much better about it. Started doing this early last gen and now I have a very sizeable collection. I always prefer to get my games on a physical format whenever possible.

Collect, but it can become quite an expensive hobby on money and space so I can see why many would sell.

Neither. I give them away. I once gave away almost 100 PC CD-games after I finished them. I put em out in paper bags by my mailbox along the street. By the time I came home, they were gone, bags and all.

Console games I usually gave away to relatives because the youngest among them have hand-me-down consoles. They get the old crap. ;)

Depends. I generally keep my favorites. This gen, I got the remasters of my favorites and sold my PS3. That said, I still have my Game Gear and Genesis that work perfectly.

Lend, but then what to do when it all finds its way back to you? I'd rather give the stuff away to a kid than sell to a collector, regardless of value.

In my time Ive had physical copies of NES, SNES, Amiga, N64, PS1, PS2, 360, PS4 & PC games. Over the years I've sold the consoles with the games apart from the PS4 which I still have but only have BF1 and Fifa 17 on that. I've also lost/thrown out/given away the old PC games.

I wish I'd never sold my PS2 because of the SSX games - loved them! No regrets about the others.

I do have over 200 games on steam/origin/uplay which I'll obviously keep until the end of time. I'll leave my account details in my will so people can play them when I'm dead :)

I only buy digital copies of PC games now and physical copies of PS4 games if I see them cheap and actually want them...but there aren't any of those atm!

well the vast majority of my games are digital downloads on PC so selling them isn't really an option.

I used to sell old console game but haven't in a long time, just not worth the effort for the amount you typically get m

I've sold a lot of games in the past; during the poor college days. Trading in 7-8 used games for a new game... I've usually regretted it.

Been on that digital for many years now so I don't really care about it anymore.

Have only ever sold one game, many years ago.

Still have all my consoles and all my games, except that one.

I buy all digital now though, so my physical game collection is at a standstill.

I Never sell them. But I'm NO collector either.

I usually research, rent or borrow games before purchasing.

I buy games that are interesting to me. If a game is still unopened and sealed, it's considered backlog and I get back to it whenever I can. That's the physical games part. For digital games, it's the same routine with Research, borrow and renting the physical copy first or download demos, then if a game is fun, I buy digitally, which is most of my library these days.

I try to keep things clean and minimally.

Once the generation is over I sell my console or donate it along with the games.

My PC on the other hand has a growing library due it all being digital and the fact that for the most part all backwards compatible.

@valgaav_219: State of Emergency on PS2.

Not sure what it was about that game but I thought it was garbage and it annoyed the piss out of me.

Even though I hated the game, it still felt weird to sell, so that was the first and last.

From then on, even if a game was total shit, I still kept it.

I sell 99% of my games. I move on with no regrets. If I want an old game bad enough, I will rebuy it.

I only have a handful of old games for every old system, most of them just being MGS ports LOL

I sell or give to my nephew...although I might stop that because he has become a little punk in his teenage years. The only recent game I've kept was Demon's Souls because I wanted to be able to lend it out.

I collect them now, I still got my OG SNES with a few games lying around, still got a ton of old PC games lying around, I regret trading in my 360 + games + PS3 games for my PS4, I feel like I should've kept them.

So now I keep all my games, I have so many games that I've run out of room for my PS4/XB1 cases, so I've pretty much resorted to digital purchases.
