4870 is actually faster than a 5770 but no DX11. They are roughly the same speed though, you won't really notice a different between them.CPM_basic
I recommended a 5770 because of heat, not performance.
Also why did you choose a DDR2 motherboard and DDR 2 ram? You might as well get a DDR3 board and ram for the same price, it will allow you to easily upgrade to bulldozer processors in the future.CPM_basic
in the list I posted it was for a thread where the OP wanted it all at or under $600. DDR3 costs more and it would have cause a cutback somewhere else like monitor or gpu. the difference isn't worth it imo.
