I'm the same exact way. Skyrim was the first Elder Scrolls game I actually forced myself to beat (the main quest). I played Morrowind and Oblivion and never got anywhere near finishing the main quest in either, yet spent hundreds of hours. I feel like as long as your entertained by a game nothing else matters.

I'm sorry but this is so dumb. How are you going to have a game of the year for a system that hasn't even been out for a year?

Whoa, what?? NFL 2K was what? Nah son, you trippin'. Why do you think Madden bought the exclusivity license? Because they felt comfortable about their game? No because 2K made a better football game and it was cheaper. Madden had better character models maybe, but the simulation aspect was miles ahead in 2K games. Madden 05 was good as well, but 2K was just as good if not better in most people's opinion. Nobody hates Madden for being Madden. We hate Madden for basically monopolizing the football game market out of fear. So frankly I'm glad 2K continues to wipe the floor with them in basketball. EA needs to stick to futbol and baseball.

I love Nintendo! I've probably owned every system they've made since I was born. Honestly, I think that developer's don't care about Nintendo. When the 3DS was about to come out, there was a bunch of games that were supposed to be made, but then were cancelled because of poor sales, I guess. The sad part is that developer's are only perpetuating the homogeneity by making games for two systems that target the same market and in the long run don't offer vastly different experiences. It's also ironic that Nintendo basically resolved the gaming crash in the 80's by being strict with the content on their system and now are suffering from people's infatuation with an over-saturated gaming market filled with clones. I joke about Nintendo too, but I also respect Nintendo and have never been let down by any system I've had. Something else ironic: I don't even play Mario games and I still enjoy Nintendo consoles ha ha. I just wish people would understand that Nintendo is constantly trying something to create a different gaming experience as opposed to cutting edge graphics. PC has a lockdown on high-end anything, consoles should focus on trying to bring something unique to gamers. Anyway I'm ranting. I just felt like getting that off my chest.
