What if you don't have internet, lots of game rely heavily these days on patches and updates to make the game more playable or add content. Guess your playing a bad version of the game forever, albeit forever, unless...
What if the disc drive on your console of choice dies? Guess your buying a new console...
There are downsides to both forms of media, and yes with digital purchases your tied to the platform keeping the game or movie on the service, that's the downside. But in the end it comes down to convenience and as long as you don't have a shit box ISP you can just download whatever you want anytime you want.
@Wraith3: If that's the only thing you see then you don't know shit about graphics lol, there are tons of graphical differences if you open your eyes. Remember, this is a REMASTER not a remake, big difference. This isn't a RE2 remake thing, the trilogy is WAY to big for that, thats ff7-remake territory.
@Willy105: Well sure but I'm saying that's not how the world works, in a idealized world we wouldn't have to work overtime for anything and things would get done in a timely manner, 100% I'm all for it. I just know that's not how it is.
And the impact on mental and physical health is real for sure, I deal with extreme social anxiety and I had to eventually quit my career because of it. Did the overtime contribute to it? Possibly. But I think a toxic work environment had more to do with it to be honest.
@rolento25: Dude thank you, finally someone else who understands. I worked as a glazier for 10 years and and a carpenter for 3-4 years and we "crunched" constantly, Ide much rather be sitting in a climate controlled building typing on a computer then working outside in 100+ or sub zero temperatures building a school or hospital doing construction work.
Crunch mean overtime in case you egg shells don't know that.
And guess what, people like tradesmen and first responders and people in the medical and law enforcement field work overtime, im sorry I mean "crunch", all the time. If you do important work or work on big projects it's part of the job. You can't spend 30 years building an overpass just cause the guys wanna go home at 4:45 every evening, and guess what, if that school has to be built and done by the beginning of the school year then your ass is going to work overtime.
If you wanna work on big projects and stuff you can proud of you gotta be willing to sacrifice a little bit. Everyone wants something for nothing these days.
Yes overtime gets old but hey that's the world you chose to work in, this isn't some idealized version of reality where no one has to do anything hard and everything's all sunshine and rainbows. Sometimes you gotta roll your sleeves up put your head down and work to get the project done.
