Yes it is the same as an hdtv. If you're playing on a 19in lcd for example you can play at the native resolution, so it will look the same as your computer. It will be full hd on any lcd or crt monitor, but I would recommend playing on native resolution for best results.

Super mario galaxy all the others are crap. Also Halo 3 is mega crapPATRIOTREBORN77

I'll take you at your word since I can see no obvious bias from your avatar or your rated games.

I don't understand how anyone can vote for Game of the Year for a game that hasn't even come out yet. Mass Effect could still suck, there are a lot of things that could cripple the game (look at the controls for Lair). How can you call a game that you have never played the best game of the year?

Personally I'd say Halo 3 but only because I'm big on multiplayer and coop and bioshock had neither. Maybe I'll love CoD4, when it comes out, or Super Mario Galaxy. And I definitely think the Orange Box deserves consideration just for the value it provides.

I have done it and it works, very well. I used a usb cable and an xbox cord extension cable. You just open them both up and match up the coloured wires, except for the yellow xbox one since usb doesnt have a yellow cable, that one just connects to nothing. The hardest thing to find is the driver and I'm sorry but I don't remember what the one I used was called right now. Also, this only works with legit MS controllers, I had a knockoff one that wasn't recognized by the driver.

The xbox just uses a modified form of usb.

I got my HDTV and its native resolution is 720p so should i have my 360, HD DVD player and cable box at 720p or 1080i and also is there a remote that can control my TV, comcast cable box, 360, 360 HD DVD player, and surround sound system? thanks

Set it to 720p, it will look the best on your hardware. non-native resolutions will always look slightly worse even if they are a higher resolution. Logitech's Harmony line are the gods of remote controls. They're expensive, but they'll control your tv, cable box, audio setup, and even your 360 (and I can almost promise you it would work with your HD-DVD drive but I've never seen it tested).
