I've never played a Hitman game and i was hoping this would satisfy my need for stealth since SC in longer even in the genre. Can anyone tell me if this is meant to be played stealth? All the sequences in the review seem to be shooting.
@billlabowski I hear ya, double agent should have been the end, at least in terms of story. Conviction was such a poorly written story to pull sam back out of retirement and then top that with whatever this gameplay is... I would have loved to see a prequel to SC1
@SpigyX no it's not lol this game takes place right after conviction, hence the whole "fourth echelon". third echelon was disbanded at the end of conviction and now this game is sam starting his own agency. ubisoft just f*cked up hard
@Slash_out @Landsharkk You have very valid concerns but the fact of the matter is, the majority of people want integration. That is why Microsoft, Apple, and Google have all heavily incorporated cloud storage into their systems. Microsoft it now taking it one step further to not only have synced data but to also have programs and apps integrated across all devices.
It is also key to understand that there is a difference between computer programs and apps. If you have every used Win8 for more than a day then you would know that you are certainly NOT forced to use the apps or the app store nor do any apps replace standard desktop programs.
Also, you said "forcing a touch interface to be used with the mouse" which in a way is true because metro was originally designed for touch screeens. However, after using win8 in its entirety, you are in no way forced to use the metro interface; unless you use the apps regularly you never need to go back to the start screen.
The biggest concern i think most people have is that the metro interface just doesnt work with a mouse which is also false. You dont need to simulate "swiping" or anything with the mouse, it's simply clicking and scrolling as always.
I don't understand the people who are saying that in halo, the team that gets the power weapons first will dominate the game... In my experience most people can't even use the sniper rifle successfully (they'll get two maybe three kills with 12 shots) and it is very easy to kill someone with a sniper because unless they can no scope a headshot theyre screwed on a 1v1. Also, the rocket only has 3 or 4 shots, i cant remember, so it gets used up very quick. In my opinion Halo isnt really about what weapon you have, it's more about whether or not you can use it
