Didn't I just!

I'm sure I managed to change one of the externals to df0 as well to give the A500s internal a rest. It was so quite in comparison. :D

I was lucky.

A Power Computing double external drive meant pure luxury in the disk swapping department. :D

PS3 games are region free. Nothing to worry 'bout there. However there may be compatibilty issues between different region games when you go online. Example: UT3 was out in the US three months earlier than the UK. By the time it was released over here the game had received some minor tweaks which meant the UK and US versions couldn't play against each other. A game update was released for the US version to make them compatible. Haze suffers the same problem. Burnout Paradise and GTAIV didn't have that problem.

SDTV are fine with the PS3. In fact they may well offer a smoother picture than a HDTV due to the quality not being so good meaning that any flaws with the visuals on a HDTV go unnoticed on a SDTV. Just don't try and read anything that's written on a SDTV - it's almost impossible to make out.

Saying that I've now got a 42" Toshiba 1080p LCD to play on. I could almost sit at the bottom of the garden and still carry on playing. :)

This could do with it's own thread to be honest rather than hijacking this one; out of courtesy and that a bigger audience are likely to read and respond. Am starting a thread up for you.

To respond to smokeyfeet then please use this thread.

Did anyone else get this free with an Amiga magazine? (Amiga Format IIRC).
An obscure little 3d polygon flying puzzle game. I can't remember the storyline or if it even had much of one but it moved quite well and for a polygon game looked pretty good as well.
