I find that to be really dumb. i dont think Alone in the Dark will do well IMO. AND i definetely think that skipping levels is for NUBS! What do you guys think?
It really depends on if it hurts the game or not like if you are going to miss some part of the story or something. If it doesnt change the story I see no problem with it as you can always go back and play what you missed but if its going to affect the outcome then I wouldn't want to skip.
the puzzles in this game better be un-godly hard to allow players to skip over them, and even then, wheres the sense of accomplishment, thats why I play games

If someone is having trouble passing a level, and they wish to skip it to continue on, then I don't feel that they should be held back for it. It would suck to be unable to advance, and not ever get to see the rest of the game.
Again, it's not something I would do, but I'm not going to call them 'n00bs' for it, either.
I bet everyone here has skipped a level on Super Mario Bros. 1 and 3. ;) Unless, of course you have never played them, in which case you aren't much of a gamer.
I think it's better to look up a walkthrough if it is REALLY too hard for you, so you have experienced going through whatever it was you were stuck on, and you don't miss any story.
i personally won't do it but i can see where someone else might want to. Hell, it'll probably save a few innocent controllers from being thrown against a wall :)
