Pretty much. Critics release these scores because they want hits or they want publicity. Can they honestly say it is absolutely perfect? I remember GTA IV got a 10/10, but was a buggy mess. It just shows bias on the part of the reviewer.
Actually I don't. What a 10/10 tells me (especially when so many Nintendo fan sites gave it a 9/10) is that the reviewer is bias. It even says in his bio that he loves the Bayonetta games. Clearly the reviewer went into the review with an end in mind.
So you are saying this is the last game ever needed for this genre? Shut down any other projects in progress or in the future... No Bayonetta 3, we don't need it. 50 years from now B2 will still be THE end all be all of this genre.
And, no... I have been gaming since the early 80's.
Looks great, but is it really perfect? Is this the game to end all games? Get rid of yor PC, other consoles, and buy a WiiU and B2 and you will never want for another game again? To me that is what a 10 is.
Great game or not, I don't put any faith into a reviewer who gives a game a 10. 9.5 maybe.
The problem is their choice of launch dates, which clearly coincides with the much better reviewed FH2. If you don't have an X1 and are a fan of racing games, then yes you should try DC; however, if you do have an X1, can you justify passing on FH2 to try DC?
Exactly... No game should ever get a 1 and no game should ever get a 10. I still remember GS giving GTA IV a 10, but then complaining about some aspects of the game. How can you give a game a 10 and then talk about negatives?
