PUBG still has a way to go before it becomes great. It's alright but the game has grown quite stale with only one map and pretty much no content updates. Yes, They've fixed a lot of issues with patches since launch but it's still lacking.

I subscribe to Game Pass and I am still buying this game. I enjoyed the original enough to warrant a pre-order for the sequel.

@Fallenlords69:
Well, a decent amount of games on there were previously free with gold or they are just so "old" that no one really buys them anymore so instead of just being there and not under the public eye because they're buried under new content, Game Pass does help highlight them and brings back some much-needed publicity that may have been missed the first time around.

And as for Microsoft not wanting you to buy games, I'll just recap what I said in my first comment:
Someone buys Game Pass and sees this brand new hyped up game, Sea of Thieves for example, on it.
Now they are gonna check out the game if they like it, they buy it and possibly buy DLC for it.
They continue supporting Game Pass because it's like "Woah, They offer games I really enjoy, I better keep paying for it in order to get more".
And by supporting that, They support developers because now there's another roundabout of their older titles while also promoting newer ones. It gains a new wave of fans not just for these older games but now people are gonna check out what other games these developers offer and in turn get them interesting in their newer release.

Game Pass is a way for them to push old and new titles.

@Fallenlords69:

As an avid gamer, I own a majority of games on Game Pass but there's still a few I haven't checked out so I got the pass in order to play them. I like it for the most part. I think the selection could be better but it is what it is, For 10 bucks a month you can't go wrong. I do like that they offer the games included with the pass at a slight discount so if I like a game that I play, I can buy it and save a bit of money. I think it's a win-win for developers too because now you have someone playing your product who may not have before, That's a potential future customer right there. Someone who is gonna buy your games, Your season pass content and so on so forth. There's a lot more to gain in the long-term by offering content for the game pass.

Plus, These games aren't gonna be on here forever and I think that will be the case with games like Sea of Thieves, They may be on there for a month or two and then get taken off. But I will say that it is a good idea to offer their new exclusives on the pass. First, You're gonna have people buy the pass for that game but also check out the other content. Then you are gonna have people check out the game they got the pass for and if they like it, They buy it and most people buy it because they enjoy it so much they want to continue playing it after it's removal from the pass.

I've never bought a game from there again and mind you, I was a repeat customer with a rewards card and the staff there knew who I was and that made it even more insulting and honestly, It hasn't changed. I went into one recently with a friend and just looking at the prices made me laugh. $60 brand new, $58 used WHAT SAVINGS! lmao. It's a joke. I'm surprised that they haven't been put out of business yet. I find superior deals online that don't even come close to what they offer.

How is this a sale? These are pretty much the prices of what these games currently are now at several different places.

Ha, Better yet - I bought a game brand new, they put a used game in the case and I didn't notice until I got home and looked at it. The entire disc covered in scratches. Returned to the store immediately and was told "that was the only one they had", No apology or anything for making me pay full price for a "new" game only to be given a used one instead.

But that is a totally optional purchase and not everyone buys in-game purchases. I'm sure a bulk majority don't. And I'm not saying it's a bad game (hopefully I don't come off as saying it is) but naturally you are gonna have the much bigger fan base for a free game in comparison to the one you have to pay for.

well, Fornite is free so there's that. Guarantee you are gonna see a lot of people jump ship the moment if they decided they had to pay $30 to keep playing.
