This guys a joke. Consumers and only consumers decude which way the industry goes, lest you want to be out of a job soon. Maybe no one told this idiot that Microsoft had a vision of the future and the consumers hated it, guess which side caved?
So I need to subscribe to Xbox live AND Time Warner to be able to watch cable TV through my Xbox...wow, what a bargain. Microsoft soft is nailing it's own coffin shut.
Difficulty is fine, anyone who says otherwise is a baby or should stick to Peggle. I will agree with the lack of reward though. I feel like sandbox mode should have it's own goals and adventure. The fact that we can build an amazing base camp then have to leave it all behind to start adventure mode sucks. And on the flip side, what's the point of building an amazing base camp when staying alive stops being an issue for the initiated.
I still remember getting stab in the gut with a lance cuz I wasn't expecting a QTE, glad they're gone.
What I found funny was the line about having to connect online to play your games.
"Let’s imagine that you have a game that requires Internet connection to prove that you actually bought it. What if you lose your connection because of your Internet provider? You can't play anymore."
I think the PS4 is going to be my initial purchase this generation. The constant internet connection is a huge drag and combined with Sony having better exclusives, it's a slam dunk.
Think MS took a gamble on the constant internet connection and will take a hit for it. The thing is, whether I bought a Xbox or a PS4, it would connected to the internet but that's my choice, I don't want MS forcing me to connect just in order to play my dang games. This is all assuming MS was generous enough to include a free wifi connection this time around.
