we can push further in the field of visual cgi, its just the problem is it will go into the uncanny valley territory which can be perplexing and a bit uncomfortable.

Cloud processing is a myth (for now), Why can't people accept that? Kudos for the performance boost though.

Yet it´s not myth on PC.

Why would Microsoft put billions in Cloud when it´s myth? Cloud already works. For Example, Forza 5 A.I.

Cloud can make A.I better, textures, streaming, everything.

and look how drivatar turned out from what i heard its improvement and/or changes is negligable or sometimes a bit overly aggressive.

cloud will not and i repeat will not improve textures, nor streaming latency between input and execution will actually increase with cloud derpaderpaderp.

i personally think besaid is a lot clearer in the sampling of the synth and in general composition adds depth to the song from a few standpoints in my mind, from the few i've listend to the sound is a lot clearer and defined more than likely due to the increased power they can play with in terms of disk space and having much better quality audio files on hand brings out an aura of more defined and crisp mastering.

In the case of Luca its the same all over, better mastering techniques and various other things. In many ways its actually more or less just a clean up and the bass for a start is more defined and sounds magnificent in my book.

Mostly all over its down to better samples for the synths, and mixing techniques that we never had back when FFX came out.

What one must remember is that over the past 10 years audio has moved on and the games changed a lot.

Luca is definitely not the same all over. For example, the original Luca theme didn't have horns in it.

what i was more meaning was the composition areas of the original are still pretty true to what i hear in the original with cleaned up and better bitrate sampling on the synths with a few additions over the top should've been a tad clearer :P

but the sampling of some of those synths are immensely well done and well defined, shows how much a lot of the tech has progressed over the years.A good example of what im going on about in terms of the sampling is well defined when you listen to OOOOLD daft punk then listen to Alive2007, a lot of the older stuff was scrubbed up and redone for that tour giving a much more defined and better overall sounding experience :P

i actually really like the reworking of besaid to be honest, the synth just sounds much more silky smooth.

But Resident Evil 2 is outdated.

much like HL2's gunplay, but the premise and how it sets about its genre is timeless and essentially a blueprint for what followed much in the vein i think halo 1 and 2 are timeless and set a benchmark for console fps's and gran turismo 2 as well because it does a lot of things right and a lot of racing series including forza have borrowed heavily from the career and various other mechanics whilst a lot of its parts might be outdated its still a stellar game nearly 13 years on.

Most DVD's only have 400-500 kbps bitrates.

Bluray movies have over 6mbps bitrates. That's 12 times more audio resolution

A lot of people forget about the audio side of things when it comes to Bluray

The audio quality on most televisions is pretty poor. It's irrelevant.

mines is good, mind you for its time it was a fairly top end samsung 4 years back and it runs good, there is a noticeable difference mind you im the person who will almost always take vinyl over digital formats any day when it comes to music and audio just due to the quality, and i have the ability to play 3 instruments :P (Bass,Guitar and Drums) so im fairly audio and music centric.

At the same time audio tends to be mixed for such situations that its a best size that fits all systems, although in recent years albums and most likely even films have been heavily designed for mp3 devices and more aiming for "loudness" and is much less organic in a few ways.

For games it a storage issue. 50GB v 8GB odd.

I'm only on a 40 inch 1080P TV but the difference between a DVD is a blueray is night and day.

even on my 32" the difference between bluray and DVD is night and day, i watched Star Trek into darkness the other night on bluray which was glorious.
