Steams already popular. So.

no GTA V no Tekken no DR3 no... these games are supposed be on steam. now steam is just nothing

those are 2 games, merely a drop of rain in the ocean so to speak they might hold weight for you but in todays market there is a wide variety of games to play and even more shockingly alternatives to said games.

Besides tekken aint been all that amazing since 3/TT, tag tourney 2 was awesome but tekken's heyday is past unless it does something utterly spectacular.

@TheEroica: if it was the best baseball game it wouldn't have been canned

blame a knee jerk reaction to 2k loosing the NFL rights, they bought the 3rd party MLB rights and it was under agreement that no other 3rd party apart from Sony could release games under MLB licensing.

The license expired, their little plan didnt work out as planned as most people went with the show due to being well....a better game.

One must learn bout all these things and the fallout from the NFL2k5 situation it was a big big blow to the 2k sports at the time but they just seemed to refocus all that energy into making good basketball games.

I personally would like to see the NFL 2k series make a come back, but the NFL and their exclusive style buisness practice whether it be with merchandise, team wear, actual gear used on pitch i highly doubt it unless Take two stump up more cash than EA next time round.

going by this topic, the whole steam machine seems like an utterly pointless exercise, badged pre-builds that cost the same really and just because they have a steam logo on them we are now supposed to care?

only decetly priced ones in my book are the cyberpower ones.

Glad to hear this, while Forza 5 is a bit light on content, this is a perfect example of quality over quantity.....over 120 hours of playtime on this game and I barely own half the cars.....online is just great fun and more clean racers are hopping on now, you can spend hours in the same online lobby with people and talk about cars ......best racing game on the market now imo.

then again it lacks something as important as the mighty Nordschlief...the track which is hands down the best track in the world for so many reasons and to any fm3 or 4 person a key part of racing online.

it's just baffling turn 10 didnt get it in there for launch, such an iconic track and would have went down a treat with Spa and Sarthe considering it plays a crucial role in LMP and endurance racing history.

bet most gran turismo players are jumping ship !

glad the superior Forza 5 finally getting what it deserved.

nope, i play both forza and gt and sure as hell im not paying for Forza 5 when it lacks something as key as Nordschleif...what racing gmae in this day and age even does that honestly its such a key track for a lot of people including myself.

I'll wait til FM6 to take a plunge with the one, for the simple reason is gt6 is getting dlc, fm4 still does its job and frankly both next gen machines are far far too expensive right now.

CES isn't really for the games, its for the tech, and not really console tech. Monitors, tablets, and general electronics. Wait for E3, that will be game central this year.

E3 the year after a new console releases is always to best e3.

considering gabe and co are there and rumoured to have steam machine in tow with more information it could be considered console-ish tech depending on how things pan out over the next few days.

Not to mention its heavily rumoured that PD are there with an unammed car manufacturer unveiling a VGT and new and future car technology all in 1 little marketing exercise.I wouldnt doubt it either considering PD have and were heavily involved in Nissan GT-R and its design.

Its good for off the wall info, but E3 and other major gaming centric confrences are much better for learning bout games being released :P

another perfect reason as to why physical is much better, even after licenses run out you can still buy them.

i was going to buy MvC1 and 2 but alas because of stupid legal herp derp and disney seem to dislike my cash then its their loss, but a bigger loss for gamers.A perfect reason for digital only and its supporters look like an even worse choice i personally revile the whole digital only culture and will go physical whenever possible whether it be music, games or movies although i do say i like netflix but thats a different kettle of fish.

both make wonderful games, but the Japanese dev's need to get back to what they are good at (the majority of them) and nintendo still go from strength to strength on the gameplay front where as squeenix are too desperate to capture a western market who just want final fantasy games as good as the golden days and a shift away from the terrible games like xiii.

both sides of the coins have their good and bad, but this gen its been a more prominent push in western developers making good games sicne the whole stigmatism bout gaming being geeky, niche etc has finally started dying off in the mainstream.

Not to mention a western companies product as one of the market leaders in the US and some european territories last gen would have helped the western devs gain a bit more ground aswell.
