I'm using windows xp media edition. I don't know what happened exactly. I just tried to roll my computer back before the problem and it worked. ? Not sure but it has been alright all day today. Thx
I have the same chipset that came with my desktop when I bought it about 6 months ago. I want a better graphics card because I cannot play some games unless they are in the lowest res.
When I turn on my comp everything is fine. After about a minute or two the bar across the bottom changes from blue to white and I get no sound. If I turn on my computer right away and start playing a game or watching a movie it is fine. Once I quit the game or turn of the movie I will not get sound again unless I restart my comp. But I still get some system sounds. Any advice?
