If people who whined about hurt feelings were such honest do-gooders, they'd devote their time and energy to more worthy causes like helping the homeless, orphans, the infirm and the elderly. But that would require actual involvement and not just airing grievances on social media.

For the record, I'm in favor of equality. Either everyone's sensibilities should be protected to the utmost degree, which would be an insanely complicated, if not impossible, process. Or nobody's feelings should be protected and people should just learn to ignore the things they don't approve of. That's one of the trade-offs for living in a diverse society.

Every time these snowflakes achieve these infinitesimal victories it emboldens them to seek out something else to be outraged about. This movie is shaping up to look more like a parody than a sincere adaptation.

I think Honest Trailers should release their own mock up of this premise so that when the official trailer gets released, people won't be able to distinguish between the two.

@olddadgamer: Video game movies will get better when studios start putting people in charge of production who actually have a passion for the source material as well as talent.

For all the progress comic book movies have made, they're still churning out the occasional piece of garbage (mostly Warner Bros.) because they appoint pretentious psychos in charge who all have their own unique vision which directly conflicts with what the fans want.

If you really break the film down, you can interpret Vanellope as being the villain.
