@soliaired50: So the Switch console itself was worth the $300 investment, but you felt that only 5 of it's titles warranted paying retail price for? That doesn't make a lot of sense.

As much as I want to play Dragon Quest XI and Dragon Quest Heroes 1 + 2, I could never justify buying a PS4 for just those three games.

@jach: Mario Party and Kirby games aside, I don't see too many Nintendo-made games that fail to give gamers their money's worth in length, content, challenge and/or replay value.

Smash Bros is good for many hours of offline play. But once you've done it all, online is the only recourse. And if you're not into online gaming, you wind up shelving it for the foreseeable future. And things like unlocking the challenges and Summon Spirit collecting aren't worth doing twice.

@YukoAsho: Something tells me you never bought a PSP or Vita.

@Xristophoros:

You want a porterhouse? You shell out the money for it.

You want to be cheap? Order a Big Mac.

It's all about choice.

@soliaired50: Quality costs money. Maybe you could afford it if you didn't own all three consoles. :P

I have no issue with paying more for Switch ports of games, it sure beats Nintendo being snubbed by third party developers because programming for Nintendo consoles is "too much extra work". But if the extra money goes towards extra development and "cartridge manufacturing", then so be it.

But Capcom keeps pulling this BS with "digital exclusives" and retail collections that are only partially on game cards and the rest comes via a download voucher. It's literally the cheapest thing they could do. So I don't see how they can justify the price hike in this particular instance.

For the record, I recently stored my copy of Mega Man X Legacy Collection 2 in the Cloud in order to free up the massive 6.8 GB of storage space it took up. Of course, I wouldn't have had to if I'd just bought Rock Man X Legacy Collection which includes all 8 games on game cards, AS IT SHOULD BE.

@Blackened_Halo: No, I want "less dialogue". Particularly of the inconsequential variety on the part of NPCs.

Sun and Moon were so overstuffed with "rapid-tap "A" sequences" that I found myself frequently nodding off and finding my 3DS on the floor or behind the bed. I didn't want to risk breaking my system so I just stopped playing altogether.

Pokemon: Let's Go, on the other hand, had the perfect balance of dialogue and game play.

So many awesome TMNT figures! I can't wait to get my hands on... Oh, wait! We're not talking about NECA's lineup? Never mind then.

Seriously, Playmates has become a colossal joke offering these sad things at $9 a pop. They used to make the best action figures in the business. I would be ashamed to stick one of these in a Happy Meal box. With Toys R' Us gone, Playmates needs to wake up and smell the adult collector's market.

Netflix is allegedly $2 Billion in debt, they're cancelling much more than just the Marvel shows. As for Disney's streaming service, I'd like to think it would be great, with archives of classic shorts, tv shows and specials as far back as the 1930's. But I know that, like everything Disney, their streaming content is going to mainly be contemporary programming that conforms to their insatiable merchandising campaign.

So I'll probably end up subscribing to neither and go back to using my WD Player and external hard drives for all my viewing entertainment.

Q: How did The Little Mermaid save Disney animation?

A: It didn't. Who Framed Roger Rabbit did. But Disney chooses not to acknowledge that film, so they engage in revisionist history-telling to serve their own merchandising gains.
