@SolidGame_basic: Nope, I don't agree at all! I had never played the original either but, this one is pretty damn bad.

Sure, the game looks good but, it holds your hand all the way through the game and it tends to be seriously repetitive garbage. If this weren't bad enough, the stupid AI of the guys that are with you is just seriously very bad!

Fenix: "Fall In"

Random Teammate: "No Can Do" or "Alright"

Then said Random teammate wanders off and does whatever he wants.

Even more than all this, the creatures that attack from the sky at night... No warning, no radar, sometimes no time to blow up a propane tank before they get you!

So no! It is not a great game nor a great remaster!

Owning both consoles, I can tell you that God of War 3 is a 10 compared to the job this team did. Maybe God of War 3 was just a better all around game to begin with, I don't know but, it is clear which game turned out better.

Oh and for the record, I have not played any multiplayer games of Gears of War as I'm not a fan of that style on the consoles.

@blessedbyhorus: Phil Spencer never said it wouldn't do jack.

"It will help developers in Xbox One. It's not going to be a massive change but will unlock more capability for devs." -- Phil Spencer

I've also seen several pieces showing it will help more with AMD GPUs than Nvidia, due to the fact that Nvidia has better optimized drivers. One source showed a 100% increase in frame rates.

AMD's Mantle was able to deliver a greater than 10% increase in performance over DX11 and AMD has since stopped Mantle development because of DX12 which was said to be an even larger improvement over DX11 than Mantle was.

Basically, I would venture to guess a 20% increase would be about right.

Now here's your real question... Will it allow the Xbox One to out perform the PS4? And the closest answer I can give you, 900P to 1080P is a 17% increase in resolution so, 20% performance improvement should mean that Xbox One should on par with the PS4 if not slightly better performing in most cross platform games going forward.

The cloud is another animal but, that should only affect Multiplayer so, the two systems should be fairly even but, you might just see the Xbox One winning more of the 1080P Performance wars.

@chikenfriedrice: It wasn't fans or lems at all... It was a report by an unnamed website but, this wasn't the award they claimed the game won. To date, there has been no award shown for the supposed award.

@Sarger001: That's easy! Xbox One! I say this because there are a ton of classic titles from past Nintendo consoles that you can play with Rare Replay.

Sorry, Op is full of bunk! Xbox One doesn't take nearly as long to do these things as he claims. I have both consoles and outside of game installation they're both about the same speed for most things.
