I'm a musician and music teacher.  If I've got to do something for money, there's nothing I'd rather do.  I like most of what goes with it, but in an ideal world, all the administrative stuff would be handled by someone else, and I'd be teaching only the students I want to teach - i.e. those who actually want to be doing it.

Only certain sorts.  Salmon and tilapia are good.  I like tuna as well, but don't have it often due to its higher mercury content.

I can't even remember.  I think I joined some time around 2000/01.

If I think they didn't hear me, I just repeat myself.  If they're ignoring me, I leave them alone.

In general I have disdain for anyone who attempts to profit in this manner.  But by the same token, some artists may never have been discovered had it not been for someone taking on the risk of publishing their music after their death.  Schubert comes to mind as an obvious example.

Hopefully she has some close friends in whom to confide, because no matter how you do it, this is going to hurt.  The only thing you can do is try to blunt the blow by doing this gently and helping her understand that it's in her best interests to let go.  Tell her that you care about her, but that you simply do not feel a romantic relationship will work in the long run, and that she deserves to be in a relationship with someone who loves her as deeply as she loves him.

If you're so inclined, you can offer to maintain a friendship with her - but you need to be careful.  For some people, this really can help a great deal in dealing with the sense of loss, because you still have the emotional support of the former partner and can talk things through and/or vent, even if further romance is not in the cards.  For others, it just leads to more pain for both parties.  Only you really know her well enough to know whether or not this is a good idea.

Before you do it, make sure you know WHY you're doing it.  There's got to be some reason that you don't feel a romantic relationship will work.  If it's related to fundamental differences in life goals, beliefs, or so forth, you may actually want to tell her that, as those sorts of reasons are somewhat more impersonal.  If you're annoyed by her personality or simply don't find her attractive, though, you'd best keep that to yourself if your goal is to minimize the pain.

Good luck.

Without defining the criteria, it's difficult to say what is "better."  My personal preference is definitely for music of the past, and from long before I was born.  But that's certainly not to say there has not been compelling music written in the modern era.

It's an incredibly sad story.  I go out to run, hike, or walk just about every day, so that could easily have been me.  Thankfully I live in a safe, rather small community.

Well, if I were a soldier, I'd have no idea what I was in for in either theatre.  Knowing what I do, I'd probably prefer Europe.

I don't care about anything but the music.  The background of the person who wrote it is pretty irrelevant to me.
