I heard about this so long ago that the more time passes the more worried I become that it'll never arrive. I hope the rumours are true and they're holding off until after Absolution so that it won't dent sales. I've already pre-ordered the latter, but you know I'll buy both!

I'm so glad to hear this straight from the horses mouth, I've been waiting for an HD Hitman collection I can play on my PS3 for over a year now! They took their sweet time!

The level of enthusiasm I'm seeing for Xenoblade in this thread is making me want it more than I did 5 minutes ago.

I kind of am...or no, maybe I'm more of a games hoarder. I still have every game I've ever owned in the precise condition in which it was acquired, not because I go to great lengths to keep things pristine but simply because I'm not the sort of person who chucks their stuff around. To be honest I don't know how some people get their games so battered.

Anyway I have a decent collection of games for each console I've owned, PS, GC, PS2, Wii, PS3...I doubt I'll ever throw any of them away, even though I'll almost certainly never replay most of them and some of them have been replaced by HD updated versions.

Maybe I'm not a videogame collector, but I would certainly say I own a videogame collection :-P

I've actually been compiling a list of these, lame as it may be. There are so many that I just feel like I need to have them noted down, so that I can look back in the future and be like 'ah, yes'.

Final Fantasy 7 and Hitman: Blood Money both had moments that made my list, but one that hasn't been mentioned so far is the cabin defence scene in Resident Evil 4, which was so tense for me I was bleeding out of my ears. THEY JUST. KEEP. COMING.

Does anyone know what the song is on the Duke Nukem Forever trailer they've got playing before every video on Gamespot? I caught some of the lyrics, something like 'You touch me and I'll touch you' but Google isn't helping out much...

For me the question is less when the successor is coming but what it will be...as has already been stated, motion control is no longer the novelty draw it once was, and returning to more traditional controllers could be construed as a step backwards for Nintendo, not to mention alienating the fat wallets of the casual market. It's going to be quite a challenge to keep the forward momentum of Nintendo's reputation for innovation...but I'm sure they'll come up with something ;-) Virtual Boy 2.0 anyone?

Calm down, everyone calm down! I feel certain that as with most games the duration for which the servers are active will be dependant upon the popularity of the game. At least March 2011! That's ages away! Why...we could all be hit by buses before then. So enjoy Demon Souls whilst you can!

I'll go with Twilight Princess. I might have said Resi 4 but it was too popular a choice :P Or maybe whatever Zelda game comes out next, they do tend to be pretty reliable.
