I really like the concept of this series. One to watch I reckon.

The trailer you guys...my God, the trailer. That alone has sold this game to me a thousand times over. Such a great concept! Make it happen!

These Draconian approaches to things like DRM only work if all the big companies agree to play ball. If, for example, you had the next gen Xbox forbidding second hand games and then next gen PS allowing them, this would surely result in a big sales boost for the latter, certainly amongst the better informed user base. Here's hoping one of them tries to screw over the others and the whole crock of bull comes tumbling down.

This article seems a little incendiary to me. Nintendo done goofed, sure, but portraying it as the death knell of the company seems a little premature. I suspect somebody wanted to jack up their pageviews on the shoulders of hundreds of angry Nintendo fanboys :-P

I think this interpretation of Cole's character has been weighted quite heavily to paint him as a total loon, which I don't think is the case (certainly not the way I played him). In my game, Cole never hit a pedestrian and because I did well in the interrogations his responses were rarely emotionally excessive. That being said I think an honest assessment of his personality might still come out with him being classed as a psychopath. His obsession with rising through the ranks, making a name for himself, being a hero...whilst mediated slightly by his experiences in Okinawa, it's still clearly beyond what you'd expect of a well adjusted individual. Personally Cole was one of my favourite game characters to play as this year. I felt that his motivations and actions were well drawn out and interwoven with his personality. My only criticism would be regarding his adultery, which I don't think was explored enough.

Cohen's Masterpiece was one of my favourite pieces of any game soundtrack for the last 10 years. Bioshock really did have the best of everything, music included. It's nice to see the composers getting a bit of the recognition they deserve! Man, I love Sound Byte.

People can complain about the price hikes all they please, but as long as 20,000+ suckers are clamouring for tickets every year I'm stunned Blizzard are raising the fee so slowly.

I couldn't call this...I mean PC wins it but for me it seems like neither console version is better, they're just somehow...different. Perhaps we can take this as a broader analogy for the strengths and weaknesses of the consoles as a whole and put this petty bickering behind us to live in a world of peace and harmony.

I can't help but feel like the reason there aren't far reaching/game altering effects to moral choices in games is that the game would have to be massive. There would have to be dozens of branching and interlinking paths the player could take and a similar number of different plotlines that result. Of the total game, any given playthrough would see maybe 20% of what was on offer. Whilst it's a nice idea, in order for a single playthrough to be of a reasonable time the amount of content en masse would be totally unfeasible. Hence: good path/evil path. Very simple.
