Because it's cheaper to just pay a company to make DLC timed exclusive, then just hype it up at your E3 conferences as if it's some amazing thing that makes the Xbox special, than spending money to have your 1st party developers actually make some full length games. That's Microsoft's effort for you. AKA none.[QUOTE="ithilgore2006"]Why is "day one exclusive DLC" selling point now? Why?Messiahbolical-
The sad part is that there's actually dumbasses out there that eat it up and believe that getting DLC "a month early"(more like everyone else just getting it a month late) is some kind of awesome privilege and it's sooooo beneficial to them and they applaud Microsoft as if they care so much about delivering exclusive content to their customers. Gullible ass mofos.
When in reality, even if Microsoft DIDN'T pay for the timed exclusivity, the Xbox users would still be getting it at the exact same time as they are. The only difference is that other console users wouldn't have to wait. So it doesn't benefit them at all. It just makes it annoying for other console owners having to wait for DLC. It's a stupid tactic, a cheap trick to try to convince their customers that their $300+ per gen for Xbox live subscriptions is actually getting them something special. lmao
my point exclty well said sir.
