@sealionact: Because the sales through Amazon gained traction with their ebook platform and branched out form there.

Going further, they offered increased product variety without sales tax. The variety might still be there, but the sales tax free days are gone.

Now, that’s not to say that people aren’t buying their stuff, but products where people want instant gratification tend to get purchased in person, just as much or more than online.

@eskchan19: Of course you do, that’s what happens when you lack the brain power to reason on your own.

Are you trying to say BOTW didn’t have huge landscapes and little glowing tombs that you had to raid to power up Link? You would be wrong if you tried to claim that.

As for Splatoon, loved the original on the Wii U and didn’t see a huge bump in this version. It kind of felt like I bought the same game twice, or an expansion pack for the original.

As for Super Mario Odyssey, sorry but the campaign being beat in 1.5 hours on a speed run, about 8 - 10 hours on normal play through, and not creating the need to gather more moons just to advance, makes the game less compelling.

Say what you want, but Super Mario 64 remains the greatest game in the genre to this date!

Also, I will say it again, the Switch is overrated!

Sorry, but not seeing a compelling reason to buy the Xbox One X based on this video.

Of course, my issues is, why run dual SLI 1070s and then play the game in 1080P? That’s a special kind of stupid there. What were you afraid that people would see the king has no clothes as that watched the XB1 X choke at higher settings!

@Yams1980: I disagree, at the very least Super Mario 64 was damn near perfect, and I don't recall a single thing I disliked about that game.

@Dav3vsth3World: Only SMB 3 and Super Mario 64 deserve a 10 out out 10 if you ask me.

SMG 2 just isn't in their league.

@jcwainc:

Yep, bought a switch, got tired of raiding tombs and running across ridiculously large landscapes, in Zelda.

Then I played Splatoon 2 and didn't see enough that showed me it was better than the original.

Super Mario Oddysssey comes out and people beat it the first day.

Sold the switch and bought a PS4 Pro. Decided that Nintendos best products are the classic consoles, so I'll stick with the SNES Classic instead.

@sodapoppimpski: I have a 4K Bluray in my living room! I don't need it on my PC as I don't watch movies on my 4K 27" Screen when I can watch them on my 65" 4K HDR Screen.

As for the 4K Video Card, That's not entirely true... The equivalent card to what is in the Scorpio is an RX 480 and it isn't technically a 4K card... It can do some 4K gaming at frame rates around 30 FPS, until you start dropping some of the settings to get it to 60 FPS. This is why everyone in their right mind knew the Scorpio wasn't going to be true 4K across the board. That was a $200 card until the crypto currency miners started driving the prices up again.

Dealer Gaming had a video showing what his RX 480 could do 6 or 8 months ago (he tried to compare it to Scorpio) and you can see that the new optimizations would likely get him to 4K 60 FPS at high settings.

As for the optimizations, that's not true at all... The PC saw larger optimizations from Mantle, Vulkan, and DX12 than any console would. Also, the fall creators update started rolling out the other day and people are claiming up to 28% improvement in FPS.

@sodapoppimpski: Yeah okay... It wasn't top 10, but it wasn't horrible. Anyone who played it said it was okay, but not worth the money because it was too short. If they could have interacted with the environment and doubled the length of the game, it likely wouldn't have been received so poorly.

@Jdzspace: If you're only gaming on a console... Sorry, but calling yourself a real gamer is laughable and I'm not buying you have any of that stuff.

The reality is, the only people that refer to themselves as "Real Gamers" are generally people grasping for any kind of value at all! People who are actually good at this stuff, tend not to label themselves in such a way.

Also, those who are professionals, don't need to run their mouths at an entire sector of the market (PC Gamers), as we all know that's where the bulk of the pro league gamers actually exist (On the PC)! These are the people actually sponsored to play it, not people who get paid to stream it.

So, when you get a clue about this crisis of yours, comeback see us.
