There's a USB port in the back of your Wii, but it's really not useful. You can put pictures on your Wii using the Photo Channel, and I've heard that you can play music on it by putting your MP3s on a SD Card and then going the the Photo Channel. So you can pretty much do everything you wanted to above.

Ever since I had my 32" HDTV, I only play with the Wii when I'm by myself! Cause every time I play it, anyone thats in the same room as me has to say something negative about the graphics! So I play my 360. I play my Wii alone so I don't have to listen to peoples criticisms. And it looks fine for me really. I have component cables and each game I have looks fine even Madworld and No More Heroes. However there is one game that looks bad for real and its Naruto CoNR2.
and oh yah...the people who post GEARS OF WAR 2 and HALO 3 are overrated, without giving specific examples as to why they think it's overrated are just hating on the game, I only respect the people who back up their opinions with reasonable arguments not people who say "OMG !!! Gears of War sux so much ! why do people think this game is great ? ", lol if you're gonna say a game is crap at least give explain why you didn't like it lol.;)

I didn't like Halo nor Gears cause I got bored just playing only online with the most annoying d-bags ever! Ironically I find more annoying people in online shooters than other online genres.
