@victoria_wolf

LucasArts was working on KOTOR III back in 2007 but it got cancelled because LucasArts was apparently in a financial bind at the time. Personally, I say KOTOR 3 can rot in a ditch. I'd rather have ToR and a new SW RPG set during the Legacy era.

@jayd02 I agree, but if we are going to be fair here it was RE4 that started the series down the path to derpdom. RE5 had its flaws, but all were present in RE4.

SWTOR is great; its only not fun if you don't have friends to play it with (like every other MP oriented game). That, or you are too poor/cheap to afford the fees, which are nothing.

Having said that I wouldn't be against a new SW RPG set during the Legacy era (say, maybe 50-60 years after RotJ). That way you could play as a new Jedi, be able to fight Sith and some of the big names from the movies could still make cameo appearances.

@jcp234 Yes, over a million subscribers is a failure. *facepalm*

WoW didn't have 10 million subscribers in a few months; it tooks years to get that number. I'm far more satisfied with ToR than I could ever be with a piddling KoTOR 3.

@Max_160 I'm sure illegally downloading games certainly does save you money.

If Japanese developers should focus more attention on multiplayer, American developers should focus more attention on single player.

A lot of SP games act as tutorials for multiplayer.

Yeah, I have no interest in D3's hardcore mode. I'm all for stripping away the safety nets that gamers are accustomed to, but perma-death is not something I could ever consider fun.

@AncientDozer True, the cross of stupidity and ignorance is theirs alone to carry, but the bile they're spewing out doesn't help the rest of us at all. It makes us sound like spoiled rotten brats, regardless of how small the group of people doing the spewing actually is.

Its things like this that make me ashamed of admitting I play video games; the sense of entitlement gamers have today is sickening, nearly as bad as the Star Wars fanboys raging on Lucas for ruining "their" movies. If there was any justice in this universe those people would be permanently banned from ever playing a BioWare game again. Viciously attacking that woman because she has ideas that differ from what you want is NOT constructive criticism; its an iron-clad case of your parents being miserable failures and an endorsement for contraceptives. Or if you are poor, just running around with scissors would suffice. Bottom line is grow the f**k up and realize that you aren't running the show. Ever.
