@RicanV @Tremblay343 @lovely_dime I'm a PC and console gamer (mainly PC), i don't see that happening anymore.
Destiny probably the only multi platform game in recent times not coming to PC and there is a good reason for that, the PC community will slaughter this game. It was an MMO style shooter made for casual players. It just wouldn't fly on PC and bungie knew this.
GTA V only other game, delayed till Feb from November release, not that bad (it's getting the next gen version).
You're clearly not a PC gamer and are just making stuff up..... ??? 99% of games come out the same day across all platforms.
@FuzzyPancakes @motopramaus @OneStrong2 I"m talking more PS2 original Xbox and prior, plug and play, no patch downloads. Consoles now share PC architecture and games require full installs, patches to install before playing etc. And they're buggy, get performance updates (generally a framerate cap or something).
On the OS i was talking about SteamOS, not Steam running on Windows. SteamOS will be game specific so much easier for developers to optimise for, won't have all that crap happening in the background. Also the interface will be similar to what you see on console now, but knowing Valve it will be a lot better, they don't mess around.
As mainly a PC gamer i'm really excited about SteamOS.
@OneStrong2 But when SteamOS comes out, it's going to have a simple gaming OS, so will be more like a console you can upgrade.........
Consoles are actually way more like PC's now, you have to install your games, download update and patches and they're buggy. Back in the day it was plug and play, but now they're little PC's which you can't upgrade.
@sampson3121 @TroyTrojanGamer @PJthePlayer2 I think the main problem with the game is it's not "hardcore" enough for the reviewers, it's not that they're overwhelmed but the driving mechanics and gameplay, it's that it's too simplistic.
