Damn this stupid 2 post limitation!! Oh well... edit time

@36Chambers93 - Adobe offers. Currently a photography one (photoshop and light room) but keep your eye on it as they are rumored to have a suite with illustrator, AE and photoshop soon.

https://creative.adobe.com/plans/offer/photoshop+lightroom?sdid=KIHZP

The link I posted earlier was for the Education Suite with over 20 of the apps, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, LightRoom, Flash, Premiere and Dreamweaver for only $5 pm more than this.

I just picked up my Xbox One pre-order as well. I had to return to Harvey Norman for my Fifa code and to swap for the Day One pack. If you're picking up your pre-order, make sure you get the Fifa code as it doesn't come included in the box. Also make sure you're grabbing a black box and not a green box if you pre-ordered the Day One pack.

Humble mobile bundle is live peeps. good games for your android handset.. there is even a fishing one for @bayloski

Ridiculous Fishing is pretty good. It managed to keep me entertained for 20 mins, which isn't bad for a mobile game.

Dead. Gone. Dying. Blockbuster as we know it will cease to exist in the next year or so.

Everything I'm reading suggests Blockbuster Australia is unaffected. These articles are all from this month:

The Vine"Blockbuster stores in Australia will remain open for the foreseeable future"
Cyber Shack "Blockbuster Australia itself is making aggressive moves into the kiosk market with 4000 kiosks expected to be rolled out across the next 3 years"
Business Day "The decision to close Blockbuster stores in the US doesn't affect Blockbuster Australia"

In any case, my pre-orders are due very soon. Hopefully, I won't be impacted.

The local one's will eventually close down in the next six to nine months. The availability of any video store is non-existent nowadays. I spent an hour in a closing down video store last night and bought about twenty DVD's for $20. Too good.

What about their online store?

I see Blockbuster are closing shop all over the place. I have Mario World pre ordered with them... hope that doesn't translate into a loss of moolah for the Chickan

I have a couple of outstanding orders with them as well, but I thought it was only Blockbuster in the US that was closing shop. I haven't heard anything local.

Blood Dragon is a standalone game.

But its Best DLC, not Best DLC add-on

Are you suggesting all downloadable games are DLC? In that case, I can think of so many better contenders for Best DLC!

There's plenty on the shelf, but the few I'd like to complete before I jump into the Next-Gen are Metro Last Light, Killer is Dead and Ni No Kuni.

I ordered one game from the Good Guys this morning and it has already been sent out by courier. Not too shabby.

I get your comment towards the Mac vs PC debate, though wouldnt video card and memory come into the equation as well, especially with video. I understand that Adobe may run smoother in the Apple environment but my PC has 2x GTX580 cards and 24GB RAM and the equal of getting those specs on Mac would make the purchase ridiculously high.

I'd assume so, but I can't be sure if it's the hardware giving me the better experience, or the OS. My PC is an i5 with 8GB Ram and a GTX 550, while the Mac is an i7 with 8GB Ram and a GT 650M. That small bump may be the difference.

@36Chambers93: As far as I know, CC is the successor to CS6. I haven't noticed any missing features, but there's a whole heap of new. As for the Adobe's "cloud", while you may not get physical media, you still install and run the apps from your machine and save files to your local drive. Except for the auto-updates, I haven't noticed a difference to CS6 in that regard. It's quite amusing actually, as their cloud feature for file saves is still not available yet.
