What Games Are Playing Before Moving To Next-Gen?

There are a couple of titles that I missed out on such as DMC, Tomb Raider, GoW: Ascension, Metro Last Light and a couple others that I want to play before I move on to the next generation. I know that moving on to a PS4 doesn't mean I can't come back to my PS3, but its just the way I want to do things and I'm curious if anyone is doing the same before shelling out $400 or $500 in the coming months.

There's plenty on the shelf, but the few I'd like to complete before I jump into the Next-Gen are Metro Last Light, Killer is Dead and Ni No Kuni.

I'm getting a Xbox One this week but i'll still carry on playing my xbox 360.
