I think of my games as a book, my personal hobby. Now if I purchased a book I wouldn't say hey! I get 5 more pages if I purchase the pass, I would say F that book. We are being sold books with incomplete pages, and that needs to stop.

@NinthFall: I am OCD when it come to video games I have to do all the side quests, before I complete a main mission. (Except Skyrim I tried) I'm not truly OCD, but I believe to complete a game fully you must do it all. You are way more poweful by grinding, and doing the side quest then you will with just the main mission. Also more loot, armor, weapons, and story when you do side quest. If the game is very good, and I truly like it, I will purchase the content the second time, or third time around. But I try not to support blindly. Since I complete all that is in the game I don't feel the need to purchase DLCs, since the hype is usually gone by then, and its only if I really really like the game I would, or wanted to continue the story.

Topic creator is clueless

They haven't cut the game's content, what they've done is extend it's life and added things normally they could never add.

A game with season pass content is a game that's finished and then it has extra content. It allows the devs to add things that would never have worked in the mian game package.

A perfect example is the Battlefield season pass, that's a game where each additional DLC adds more to the game and steers it away from the original game.

I'm really sick and tired of people spouting off on things they don't know about and then cling to the "old days".

Who care what you're sick of, I'm tired of the newcomers getting hustled, so everyone gets hustled. I will sprout in your ear, till you're pushing up flowers. I care about my games, and money. I would like to give back to the gamer community. Sorry I am not a fool like you!

You have no clue what you're talking about. So you're saying because the game is finished it ok to start making DLC, and season passes ok, but if the game isn't released yet, then the extra content they are selling you, is content that should have been in the game. Its called nickle, and diming. Seems to me if the game is not released it is not finished yet, and ideas of change, or extra content is in play. They understand they can squeeze a few more dollars out of you, by taking out something, or adding it later. They look for people like you, to think they are doing you a favor, but what are you getting? Did you play ME:3 to know what I am talking about?

My point is I see what these companies are doing, and its not new. If new gamers continue to purchase passes without thinking, we will see more of these season passes, and less content in our game. ME:3 is a perfect example, and all the backfire bioware got from it. The protean DLC is from the very beginning of the game, which changes the whole entire game, also the locked characters that the PC players unlocked for free, on disc content. there are plenty of examples of this, look it up smart guy. EA laid the trap, and newcomers fell right in.

I for one like to play my games full content, think of mass effect 1, no DLC until the game was actually completed, I can always go back and play this game fully. If this continues they will release half games. Then you will have to purchase the DLC to continue to play.

The game looks interesting. I must say that the glaring similarities to Assassin Creed is a bit disappointing.

Aside from a couple of clips here and there, I haven't seen too much gameplay of this game. Hearing everyone say that is very similar to Assassin's Creed and Arkham games is pretty crazy. Since everyone is saying that, it must really be similar to those two franchise.

There is plenty of gameplay trailers out there, I watched the full hour, and the new one today. It def looks like AC, without being AC, and Batman combat. Can't wait to play this game. The similarities do turn me off slightly, but The nemesis system, and new gen system alone make it a good pick up for me.

I usually feel pretty iffy about giving anyone something used. If it is a b day gift I feel it should be new, not used, unless it was a off hand, do you want this? But if you, and your friend have been doing this than its the norm. You seem to have put a lot of thought into it, so if you're happy with it, you will be fine, if not, you lived, and learned, and next year get them some nice cheap dishes.

The closed beta was proof enough for me to save my money and put it on something more worthy of my time. Bungie over hyped this game to the point that what high hopes, and anticipation I had for the game were dashed when I played the beta.

Ummm, every comment except yours is positive about the game, I went into gamestop, and there was only one returned copy, out of the two stores I went too. You may want to rethink your stance, or just sit there, and hush up, till you're ready to try the full version, because it looks like people are responding positively to this game.

@mdk12345: I will indulge. Though it would be amazing, and maybe in the future. I mean if everyone started customizing their own PC, like so many do now a days, the system war will be over, and PC will win, so by collaborating, and making one system, they could take out the PC competition.

@plennythegoat: I know in Mass effect 3 the RPG can be turned off, but I don't know why, or who would do that to an RPG game...... Good call Bioware (sarcasm), Fucking EA!

Yeah, because options that are completely optional are bad. (sarcasm)

@speedfreak48t5p: I do not see the need in dumbing games down for people who don't want to take the time to learn the game. This is like taking the weapons customization out of COD, and giving everyone the same gun, just to play the game, and get through it easily.
