Looks like a straight rip from the Arkham series. I cannot finance such laziness, but it will end up on my PC one way or another.

Had an eye on it and now it's getting good reviews I will be getting it. The Nemesis system really interests me and I like open world games.

Being a huge LOTR fan, I'd say I'll be buying it.

The game looks interesting. I must say that the glaring similarities to Assassin Creed is a bit disappointing.

I love Assassins Creed. I love the Batman Arkham games. I love Lord of the Rings. Heck yes I'm buying this amazing game, have had it preordered for a while now!!!!

Aside from a couple of clips here and there, I haven't seen too much gameplay of this game. Hearing everyone say that is very similar to Assassin's Creed and Arkham games is pretty crazy. Since everyone is saying that, it must really be similar to those two franchise.

There is plenty of gameplay trailers out there, I watched the full hour, and the new one today. It def looks like AC, without being AC, and Batman combat. Can't wait to play this game. The similarities do turn me off slightly, but The nemesis system, and new gen system alone make it a good pick up for me.

Same here. On one hand, it looks interesting. On the other, it's a LotR game. I was never a fan of the series.

batman meets assassin's creed in the lord of the rings universe? with gore? count me in.

i like the nemesis idea too. it may not be perfect in this game, according to some of the reviews i've read, but it's got a lot of potential to create non-scripted epic revenge battles and i think we'll see other development studios pick this idea up and further develop it in future games

So this game, which seems to pretty much work properly, didn't involve any massive graphical downgrade, wasn't involved in some astronomical hype-train, has an interesting premise and gameplay mechanics... gets an 8. While stuff like WatchDogs, that gets butchered before launch, with a bunch of very obvious downgrades and questionable gameplay... gets an 8 as well?

P.S., I'm not saying that SoM deserves a 9, I'm just questioning if WatchDogs deserves the same score as SoM

It's not my kinda game I'm not into lord of the rings and the game is kinda based on that universe.

I am a fan of the series, my only fear is repetition.

@MarcRecon: It wouldn't surprise me if there was a lot of repetition.

@crimsonbrute: it looks repetitive, but the only thing I like about the game is how your actions actually have an impact ingame. Well then again at the end of the day you are just killing trash mobs over and over and over like the Dynasty Warriors series.
