I doubt that since most the people playing it enjoy it, and there are no used copies hanging off gamestops shelves.

@rckstr7: Try to reason with them if they hassle you, but if its a sports games, and you last name matches I wouldn't even care. Its the mature games they check you for. Have them call her to verify.

@mdk12345: X360 / PS3, when it first released, the graphics were not the best, but now it blows the first released games out of the water. I agree to wait on the hyped game, or system, look up your own info, because everyone has there own preference. It is for sure a trap because of our human nature, to want, but the next gen will only get better, and the up's to that is the PS3 games will only get cheaper. Don't be upset, time will tell, if you played games from the original release of those systems, you will understand how fars games have gone. The first year is always rocky. At least you can play the next gen games while so many of us, still are waiting.

Blasphemy! You would change Pokemon's usual game structure that has been done over 7 times, for over 10 years, to make an Amazing RPG pokemon game? We should have this man hanged, Everyone together! Boo this man..... BOOO!

@mdk12345: I can't wait man! I like the idea of best of both worlds. I will always have my PS3, and games, so I will keep playing. If my PS4 doesn't release a game who cares, I have hours of games for my PS3. If PS4 does get a game like IDK.. Shadow of moridor, I will be glad I have my Ps4.

Pff, I use walkthroughs all the time if something takes me too long to find out. And they can indeed be very silly things, like not finding a particular object that's right under your nose. I'm not going to ruin my gaming experience by getting frustrated about silly details like that. With puzzle games it's a little bit different, but especially with those older point 'n click adventures if I've tried it for hours, then put it aside, come back and still can't figure it out, I'll just look it up. Once I get to a point that I realise the satisfaction from doing it yourself will not outweigh the frustration that preceded it, I'll use a walkthrough.

I know people get all romantic about how hard videogames used to be, but I never play videogames solely for the (skill) effort, so I will only continue doing difficult stuff as long as it's somehow still satisfying. I'm very patient and do have a bit of pride, so I sometimes get stuck for quite a while, but I'm not stubbornly persistent.

I do the same when it comes to places i get stuck in. People who brag about their skill in games like Dark Souls are stupid. Why would you want to beat just for the sake of it being hard? I play games because they are fun

@The_Last_Ride: I get bored a lot quicker if the games are not challenging. I pick up on games very quickly, faster than all my friends, so I like to play games for their difficulty. The challenge is fun, and I feel more of an accomplishment, than beating it on a normal setting. But I agree, I have started games on hard, for that sake, that were not fun. I like to play games on normal for fun, so I don't hate the game by the end. I learn from that play thru, then play on the harder, to hardest mode after that, and I truly enjoy it.

When this happens there's usually a misunderstanding of core-concepts. You probably just need to be more familiar with how the game works and how the missions are setup.

Something similar happened when I was playing Divinity: OS, but when I got more experience with how the combat works and how the puzzles are setup I began to 'look in the right places' instead of having to use a guide.

@pyro1245: Right on! I have found that I will get frustrated if I don't understand, or missed something. I hated Mass effect my first time playing, because it was my first real RPG, and I didn't understand, but I started over, read what I needed, learned about the core concept, since then it has been my favorite game ever.

Whenever a controversy like this pops up.... I never ever take the gamer's side. If the general public says games are cause violence then I'm on their side, if the press thinks gamers are rude indespicible creatures with a complete lack of empathy then I take their side.... I honestly don't care if its inaccurate, I really hate the gaming community and have absolutely no problem watching the Majority burn for the actions of a small group of assholes !

@Lulu_Lulu: Wow! Stupid IS as stupid does! So a follower to the core huh? Hopefully, no one leads you off a cliff lol! General public said I wouldn't die, so I jumped lol! Not sorry, you are the stupid asshole! When you people get together, what do you talk about? Do you guys make sentences? Do real words actually come out lol! I will quote you because this is exactly what you, and the press are.

"rude indespicable creatures with a complete lack of empathy" Hence your statement: "I really hate the gaming community and have absolutely no problem watching the Majority burn for the actions of a small group of assholes!"

Why are you on a gaming forum than troll? Spreading hate? You are Rude, and lack empathy, you should think about that, if your brain doesn't start hurting.

Anyone else starting to get a wee annoyed with the overwhelming amount of Destiny related content on GameSpot? Nothing against the game and its players, but it would be nice to see some other coverage.

@Vortigrom: Its something new, Better than COD that we have seen over the years. I don't have the game yet, or system, so it doesn't bug me. Just makes me want it more. I agree, different game coverage would be nice, since I don't have mine yet, But it seems like a great game. I walked into two different gamestops yesterday, and only saw one copy returned. Usually shitty games, have the shelves overloaded.
