Its actually a pretty good console for what it is and compared to what it sells and what people says. ninty has more of an image, marketing, corporate think problem than a hardware and game quality one.
I think it started with 7 but ten is what killed it at least for me, when it went ultra linear, cinematics over interaction, and pretty much stopped having anything to do with roleplaying beyond stat numbers and behind the scenes dice rolls.
After playing the TR reboot really looking forward to rise, looks like it will be a continuation of the how did this normal girl become a legend, and thats awesome.
Though I have to agree with those that think the name is stupid, its pretty sill sounding.
No. There are a on occasion parts I do not like but if I hate a part that much chances are I will not want to replay the game to begin with.
Way better than last year and the Halo Master Chief collection makes it a want now for me. I still think there was way too much "exclusive" content that was really just " timed release dlc" though. Think they could have made a stronger statement on their plans for those with the Kinect, now it really looks like they are saying oh well to those that were forced to buy it.
Totally worth watching for the Tomb Raider and Evolve trailers though.
Got to go with a couple others. At my age I have come to learn overated and underated are piss poor guides and terms, when both opinions and taste are subjective.
As long as it interests me I play and like games from the only gameplay and nothing else perspective all the way to point and click that is pretty much mostly story. So yes. A good game is a good game.
I much prefer MG because I have enjoyed all the canonical entries. Not so with Zelda, especially adventure of link. And anyone who has ever token a look at zeldas "timeline" has no right to cast stones at Metal Gears storyline, which has been one story since MSX regardless of adding a solid to the title.
