gears 2 can be better then halo with a 9 but R2 cant be better then halo because of score.

I'm not saying that it is or isn't but I just find it interesting how score-mongers find new ways of owning themselves every day.

This is phenomenal. Seriously, 360 is the no.1 SOFTWARE KING this gen, the ability to mvoe incredible software numbers is astonishing. Gears 2 was projected to sell around 1.5 million in it's first week, but it's smashed that and done 2 million + in 1 day. It;s going to be the best selling console exclusive of the year. Well ahead of MGS4.Kratos_OMEGA

Ah, well, that will be the first thing Gears has that is better than MGS4.

I don't have any many friends on 360 :P but still i manage to find random people on Gears 1 & 2 who like a good team shooter.

I hope you weren't serious. Resistance was .4 off of the original games score.

Actually, since they reviewed RFOM before they changed their policy to .5 intervals, it would be .5 (they would round down to 8.5). And the scores they are giving heavily hyped games now-a-days, consider a .5 increase HUGE. In support of this, look at GEOW. The first one scored a 9.6, the second scored a 9.0. Fable 2 too.
