I would have come up with a couple of names but then i knew this was a trick question. Usually when games i like get prettier more people tend to play it, commercializes the developer and the next sequel is going to be dumbed down majorly so more people can play. I won't fall for it, i play my games the way they are even if that means ascii text.

Another lol thread. I didn't read the article but they are obviously narrow minded. I could not care less if the PC would be dying for the big crowd of casual gamers. The PC will always be the best platform for me and many others. Thousands of games are being created, and always will be. I am talking about solo developers, small teams and open source projects. Modding also is a major reason to keep developing for PC (i just mention oblivion here). The games i play just can't be ported to consoles, to mention some famous ones Starcraft 2, Dota/lol, Simcity, civilization(really civ:rev == crap). And even if they will the controls would suck. And then there are loads of games i play that the narrow minded people never heard about and probably never play like dwarf fortress or ottd. The PC offers a lot more then your regular open world rpg, fps or rts. The PC can be used for so much more and i would be glad the PC died so it could stay true to it's nature, which is creating deep and innovative games.
Professional sports are as bad for your health as professional gaming is. It isn't good to stretch your body to it's limits. As for learning, with games you train your brain. And as for your first statement, anybody can do anything as long as he practise enough. Your post is empty and thoughtless. You must have been gaming unprofessionally for many years then...

..... PC gaming has always been cheaper... Accessible? Ohh god i hope not, it's already getting far too accessible and casual games market is getting overcrowded. Let those couch potatoes play on there damn couch until they can handle real PC games like RTS, City/empire builders, tycoons, etc.
