I had this a decade ago, i never closed my case and a friend brought up the idea so i did it :D. Problem nowadays is that you really need airflow to keep things as cool as possible so a case is a must have.get rid of the case, just screw the mobo into a wood plank and mount it on the wall. More cash saved and it looks hilarious. (I actually have a friend that did that)

Open dictionary:
a. Physical activity that is governed by a set of rules or customs and often engaged in competitively.
Gaming is physical, you move your mouse with your hand and have to react as fast as possible and make good decisions. Games often have a much larger ruleset then "common" sports like soccer or football.

Where are the ''e-sports are no real sports'' discussions???
Sitting behind your PC can never be a sport at all...

I think that is a fair point to make, but then again, I also don't think golf, figure skating, bob sledding, archery, etc count as "sports" either. But it isn't my call on what qualifies as being called a sport or not.
At the moment is seems the only requirement for something to be called a sport is that it has to involve competition.
i was going to agree with that last line, but then i remembered that fishing and hunting count too. and all the forms of surfing and sailing and skydiving. Fishing and hunting as a sport is about competition. You have to catch the bigest fish, the most and the most weight for fishing. Skydiving and serving is being judged.I want to add to this thread some more.
Being a pro gamer isn't all that fun and easy like some people think. You have to keep practising and keep winning or lose your sponser, there is serious presure on these guys. And while a regular team can have 10K fans these guys have millions all over the world.
Did anyone mentioned typing being a sport? So by that logic... while I'm typing this I'm actually sporting quite hard now!
I'M A SPORTER!!! YAY!!!
