I would have said Xcom but they actually did a very good job on the "new" version. But there cannot be enough Xcom games in my opinion so I'm totally in!

Ps: I'm a developer myself. And have attempted it myself but it was a bit too much to chew. This is more my cup of tea: Bounce and Break

Looking for a game I played probably on win 95. It opened multiple windows. One with the enemy Base, one with yours, a manga avatar telling you what's going on and maybe more. You could build your base with missile silos and firing them at the enemy Base. As well as building robots to defend or sent to the enemy to attack.

The best characteristic I remember where those multiple windows. They where literally the windows windows you could resize, max and minimizer. You would organise them on your desktop so you could see them all.

I tried several of these programs, i also injected the sata drivers with nlite into my windows but i nonly get the damn USB stick to show and install too. It already took me 6 hours and not a step further. The easiest thing to do might be to hook my hdd to the mb with a ide cable so it does not whine about sata. Why is it so damn hard these days to reinstall your system... ohh yeah of course because people buy a new one when it gets slow because of the crap they spread on the internet with a different name on it.

Hi,

I am trying to install windows from an USB device. I got to the point where i can get into the asci/text based install after booting from the USB. But the only option i have to install on the flash drive itself, i do not see my HDD. Anyone has a clue how to get my HDD to show up there?

My laptop is currently very slow and the CD-rom is broken, thats why i want to install it this way. I am using wintoflash to make the USB stick bootable.

I just started playing, i guess you have to gain a view levels before things get better like with LOL. My first game of dota was an epic fail, i though i chose and locked my hero and tried everything to get into the game that was running in the background.

It is utter crap, get rid of the eye candy and give us some space to build. I rather see ASCII symbols and a larger map then detailed 3D objects with this much space.

I do not think, i know for sure. Nowadays gaming is a commercial enterprise where in the old days people made games in there attic out of love and pure inspiration and creativity. Nowadays people are pushed to a deadline and most money goes into art work and marketing instead of gameplay. There are still really good games around like dwarf fortress and besides that i mostly play older games.
