I remember the 106 pages of flaming i got for saying diablo III took a couple of wrong directions about a year before release. Now they are flaming him. We call them trolls.
In those 3 races everything is different, every unit has it's own unique and powerfull abilities. And yes if you look at the top players you see most play terran, so no it's not completely balanced, but since there are plenty of players with protos and zeg in that top 100 i'd say it'spretty balanced. Thers always room for improvement. I'm not sure what you mean by auto pilotting skills. But in even you can learn every skill by not even playing the game, well you need to buy the skillbook though. What i ment is, every issue can be solved. Like if a mage can cast an "entangle" spell a mellee character should have something to break loose from it. To make everything really balanced it takes time to come up with a good system, but isn't that what you guys pay blizzard for?
If starcraft can be balanced WoW can be too. Once again i call uppon eve, due to it's complicated gameplay and math a smaller ship can be as good as a big ship. But it all comes down to group composition and teamplay in the end.
@UBERxL33T Wow is the most played MMO but that does not make it the best mmo. It's like saying ferrari and lamborgini are the worsed cars because almost nobody drives them. Every MMO is a freaking grind, a 2nd job actually. Replayablity, endgame? Well its the same grind but you look for your items in bigger groups. The only improvement i can see from the past is the bosses need certain tactics to defeat but thats it. My vote goes to eve online, screw NPC's.... why play vs computers when theres internet? Yes eve is an endless grind and a 2nd job too but atleast it offers something WAY different then all those crappy fantasy based mmo's out there.
You can get better with bots that insta kill you. I used to train with hardcore bots back in the days of quake and counterstrike beta. If i want intelligence i play MP :D
