Im already seeing players leaving bf3. Its hard finding a decent server anymore. Im trying to finish the assignments and all everyone is playing is nashahr canals. Most servers are empty these days and its lame. When MOH comes out later this year bf3 will lose even more players including me probably me too. Ea is trying to compete with the system that activision is using. Although i do agree with some of what has been said here, i have bought premium and while it is expensive it does have its uses. Im not buying anymore though, cause i think bf3 is done, its got plenty of hackers, and im not refering to the more obvious ones either. Its real lame when u cant play without cheating. Maybe bf4 and MOH will use a better anticheat system. Haha i just laughed at that!
Looks cool, I wont be getting armored kill cause I dont play much vehicle warfare. I just use the bare minimum to complete the assignments for what i do need to use. I usually just play tdm because I prefer man on man action as it pits skill against skill. vehicles are fun but it becomes boring when you have a noob just roaming the map with tanks and 1 ko players, especially when they are high level players and it would take several tank busters, other tanks or flyers to kill. I like playing bf3 over COD, but im an old school COD MW1 player and prefer the smaller maps, am def getting MOH warfighter!
I prefer this to BC2, yes origin and BF3 have issues but the problems that were in BC2 to me were worse. I dont see what everyone here saw in BC2 but it sucked. I do agree on the issue of the COD stuff. They are trying to copy the pay as you go system in COD, but premium does have a longer shelf life than COD. You get more with Premium than with Elite, however, its still a pay for play. Either way, unless they force all current servers to use the premium system then you dont have to pay for anything.
The problem that Square Enix faces is not that they cant work on the project but that the entire game it self would need to be redone. The story, which is 20+ years old would need a change, you dont want to play a copy paste game with updated graphics do you? I sure wouldnt want to, if you already know the outcome it spoils the fun of playing. To remake the game, they would probably have to create new characters which means a new sepphiroth, a new cloud, etc. Plus the planetary setting will probably have to be changed too since it actually mirrors alot of our planetary problems today. Gameplay will need changes too, turn based fighting is old and boring, they need active combat systems that function more like Assassin's creed with Kingdom Hearts esque system management. FFVII would have to be a whole new game not a copy paste. What would be a better solution is to do a sequel, the origins of the story revolve around an alien being crashing and the remnants being spread to the populace. have the original aliens attack the planet and have the story revolve around seppiroth and cloud, plus have a direct conflict between them since cloud is technically seppiroth and both are linked to the aliens.
game looks great, I lament that they got rid of Michael Ironside, not because of the voice, but because his voice was literally Sam Fisher. You hear his voice and you know its Splinter Cell. They are making Sam Fisher younger and younger. I like the new abilities because the only way you could kill someone quick and quiet in the old games was by a silent kill. Head shot would not kill in the old games even when they did not wear helmets, yet in conviction headshots actually worked. the mark and execute system was great and with the addition of the kill in motion was cool also. They should make ARcher from Conviction the lead and have Sam Fisher play the role of Lambert from the old Splinter cell games, while still having him as a playable role in the game.
Scores for games are based on the editor's opinion. Different editors review different games. If you want to complain about the review system then check the editor that review COD and see how many games he has reviewed and the scores he gave. COD now adays gets 9.0 scores when it should get far less. Yet other equally good games seem to get scores that reflect the value of them. Future soldier is good, I will get it regardless but all these scores are is just an opinion. You should research any game you buy before hand becuase you wont get back what you paid.
they lost a fan in me. Im tired of WW2, place the game in Modern times with a fictional war with Russia, China, and maybe some Mid eastern enemies. They played the full war in the first game, the rest were just rehashes which I never played. I wont be getting this then. Follow the original activision crew when they made MW for COD and modernize the setting! I liked DOW2 because it limited the number of units in play, but dont make this game like that!!
Meh, its gonna suck like previous games. All COD is lame. Only the single player game will rock, regretable it will be short, and the rest is recycled FPS with terrible internet hosting. There will always be those who willing fork out 60 bucks for these games, lol to you. My last COD was MW3. No more for me, wasted too much.
