i had thar problem, sometimes i could fool the console by pressing the PS button then choosing "theme settings" insteado of the "quit game" option, and i could back to the menu just fine. Then i just updated my console to the latest update and now i dont have that problem anymore, i can just choose the "quit game" option and i go back to the menu.

If I wasnt playing Oblivion (got it on the cheap recently), I would be playing VC more often. I LOVE that game! yeah, oblivion is an awesome game. Very addictive, i spent like 120 hours on it.
